Being talkative is fine so long as the person knows when to pause to give the other person a chance to say something. A person who doesn't do this and constantly interupts the other person and is totally uninterested in hearing anothers point of view but is totally focused on their own thoughts is the last person I would ever want to try to converse with. And yes, I've met these types.

I'm on the fence with this one. I can talk fair enough...for a short while. So how much talking are we trying to take into consideration here?
I would have to say it might depend more on what the person talks about. Is it important, reasonable, or what the neighbors are doing and such?
Is it okay if I have to go to the store or gas station...a lot? And alone?

Sometimes you need to talk and yeah often too much ( so I would say it's a good thing )
Sometimes u need to stay back and see how thing's go ( so I would say its a good thing )

Talking to a talkative person is infuriating, and frustrating. I like to have a conversation ... which involves one party listening while the other talks, and then respecting the others opportunity to put forward their viewpoint. while they listen.

I can be very talkative at times. Sometimes I am silent for long periods of time. Sometimes people become concerned if I am silent. I like when people have a nice give and take.

I think quiet people are quite capable of being honest. They tend to listen more and weigh carefully what they have to say in order to not give false promises or impressions.
I am about as honest as they come but not overly talkative.
