ps i personally thought vegas and slot machines extremely boring...but the game 21....woo a hoo!!!ie i liked the dance comp i was at and the mountains way more....the nite life my students wanted to go a boring show...ugh!!

I stayed in Macau for 6 years. The Chinese mainlanders there gambled like there's no tomorrow!! 
My great-grandparents who came from China were totally against gambling and none of their 6 kids gambled. However, that cannot be said of their grand kids and great-grand kids... 
I used to go to casinos like 4 times a week after dining at the nearby restaurants with my girlfriends. I only allocate like USD100 each time I go to the slots. If I lose, I'll normally would wait patiently for my other friends to finish their allocated bet that could come up to USD1000.
Macau casinos are raking in more money than their counterparts in Las Vegas. Steve Wynn has moved his headquarter from LV to Macau sometime back and maybe Sheldon Adelson, owner of The Venetian, would follow suit too??

A mate of mine has a degree in statistics and gambles online using his own programmed algorithms. He makes an absolute fortune. I don't gamble tho, and if I did it wouldn't be on the lotto as the odds literally don't come any worse.

Like you, when I was in Las Vegas a few years back I allotted a budget to play on the slots. Of course my amount was 50 cents....... which I lost

I do “bet” with my children for fun about daily things and the bet is quite high but we just keep record of it "kind of" anyway we all win or lose.
