minnieme2: Have you seen Ripper Street? That's quite raw. Lovely old style English in it.
I am aware of it, but I have not actually seen it. I may check it out some time. Is it related to Jack the ripper? I feel silly asking that because it probably is.laugh

I keep hoping we'll get a Chuck movie, even if it's released direct to dvd or blu ray. Just started watching the BBC show Sherlock this last year, having seen series 1,2, and 3. It's fantastic!

It's not actually about Jack the Ripper but it's about that area and time. Different stories each week. The occasional mention of the Ripper Murders in it.

I loved Queer as Folk; Lost; Walking Dead and True Blood.

But 24 has to win overall.

I love Jack's character, and there used to be great tension. Sometimes I used have to remind myself to breathe!

Well not having TV for over a year now, I use to watch Hawaii five-O. As for those on the list, never really got into them. Reality shows aren't reality shows. My favs back in the day were, M.A.S.H, MacGyver (actually used common sense and knowledge), Acapulco H.E.A.T short lived show, E.R., C.S.I the original.

Here's one most of you are too young to remember , Peter Gunn, 1959 to 1961. Probably the coolest private eye series ever. Was Edie Hart (Lola Albright) a knockout or what?

ooby_dooby: 24 WAS a great show but the networks ruined it by switching it to different time slots. Once you lose interest in a series it's hard to get it back.
You left off what is probably the best show on TV at the moment "The Big Bang Theory".
You also left off another great show "The Simpsons".
For the record, I don't watch any of the shows you listed. Outside of the Big Bang Theory my favorite shows are "Judge Judy" and "20 Most Shocking, Dumb Dudes". And of course the News.

Never got started on 24 - and I like The Big Bang Theory. Judge Judy is just too mean now. Add - CSPAN and other political craziness.

Under the Dome
Dexter
The Wire
The Eastenders
Burn Notice
Suits
SouthPark
.......

uh oh I think I better get out, stop watching so much television and get a life.

It was filmed down here in Miami - funny watching some of the episodes because I recognize so much of the backdrops or landscapes. So was Dexter.

I saw them filming some of the shows right in front of my office building.
