yes i do....and many a time i do state my position....and also i understand why others have theirs....but am not about to change my mind...yeah there r processes....but ...here they are...and they are children....and so it is time to deal w it....i do not advocate just throwing them back into the system....and so that is why i feel other countries should step in....after they r processes and spread it out....whilst programs are activated and enacted upon in their own countries....or maybe they should b the change that gets things going in their country of orgin after sufficent time and assistance and on and on....there is always hope....
Deport them all seems to be missing from the poll. THAT is truly the only logical thing to do besides unspeakable things the obama misadministrations deserve.

JeanKimberley: Yes California is special - one moment in history those folk in the southern California were living in American and the next moment they were living in Mexico, and they never moved from their homes. Go figure - so of course you get special credits.
History was not my favorite subject when elementary school but I do rememberit was the other way around.
California: First, they were living in Mexico and the next momet they were in USA (America) unless my History is worse than yours.
@ lifeisadream, My post was meant as a joke, I wasn't serious. The way to put an end to the drug cartels is to hit them in their pocket books. Take away their ability to make money and they will fade away very quickly.
Several people mentioned before investing resources in child refugees from Honduras we should invest in our own American born destitute children and families. Not all Americans live in a nice warm house with a fridge full of food and a nice car and credit cards and iphones as popular image may suggest. There is abject poverty in the USA and if you would like to see it for yourself just watch this.

sweetiefireball....I do not know the answer, I always in my mind go to the ones who have been standing in line filling out forms, waiting for the green light to come in....how unfair is this too them? I know we should help them all I do, but we cannot support every child in the world we do have our needy ones here in our own country......God grant us the wisdom to handle this mess rightly....

USA-MEXICO WAR 1846-1848
By David J. Weber “Mexico and the United States went to war USA declared war to Mexico over a vast amount of terrain — what would amount to half of Mexico when it was all over, beginning of course, with Texas, which the United States annexed.
The U.S. interest in expansion is very plain. Texas we wanted simply for its fine agricultural production, cotton in particular, which turned out to be the major commodity. California was the real goal in the far west — to have harbors on the Pacific and make ourselves a continental empire.
We were not terribly interested in New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Utah and Nevada, all of which belonged to Mexico as well, but those territories needed to be conquered if we were eventually to connect the Atlantic to the Pacific by railroad, which was already a dream. From the point of view of Mexico, these lands were not of any great value, but they belonged to Mexico.
The lands were theirs and had potential value in the future. They were not of immediate economic value, but Mexicans knew full well that Texas was a wonderful place for agriculture.
The reports that came back suggested that Texas and California were potentially very rich provinces. I don't think either the U.S. or Mexico especially appreciated the desert...."
Just a little bit of history written by an American.
ooby, in truth they are all our children, it's just should we skip over the ones in front of us to reach out to the ones cutting in line....this is a horrible mess and only God can really straighten it out correctly...

Dragos1: Just to clarify, who is "dude"? I only knew that one but he is not here.
It was right after my comments, so I responded as she was talking to me. Another good reason why members should be courteous enough to address other members--even to disagree. It would sure save a bunch of trouble and speculation.

Where would this free for all end? Our resources are strained to the breaking point, to say the least. WE DON'T HAVE THE ABILITY FINANCIALLY!! The countries where these people come from need to be educated to develop their own social environments. Get this, and get it good: It is a SCAM. A masked invasion. An attempt to anchor innocent children so law-breaking family can easily follow. Wake up, will ya?

Agreed, I really had no idea. At one point I thought maybe it was a "catchall" phrasing.
timing...oh timing....anyways....history according to whom....what agenda and such....anyways....what about the na,s here....many, many tribes have been displaced....and reorganized and shuffled around and on and on....not everyone has a great big political agenda...this is addressed to one and all!
ps...to the dude w no pic....heya...if others ....ie other countries jumped into help out...which would only b fair then they could not get an anchor could they....
well....it shall b a big concentrated effort to help those here already...the point is they r here and they need housing and something to eat while things/the situations r figured out....
as far as i know this is one of the longer polls....anyways....the vote seems to b in...but the comments r ongoing as this situation is ongoing...and if there is evil intentions behind the influx....well we feel...at least in this area that we helped others thru Christ and if we r taken advantaged of....well we do not need to hide our heads....but b proud we did what was right for children....
