To be honest, I'm not sure why I'm still single...perhaps fear, circumstances, single too long. 
Because no one I want to not be single with want's to not be single with me.

I hear ya KB and I bet our reasons are quite similar.
Because I am taking my time, making sure I find the right person to spend the rest of y life with. Life is way to short to spend with someone who makes you feel alone.

Because I haven't found a man that can match with my goals to reach. Unfortunately I have seen many men with no goals, no vision in the last years... It´s good to see men that go one step ahead before us!
Funny I know why other people are still single. Some because they haven't a clue what they really want, they have no idea how to judge character and, AND, are not only inherently dishonest, they lie to THEMSELVES 
Easy to look at someone else and know why. As to why I am, well, that's one of life's ongoing mysteries.

Have loved and was loved in return.
Unfortunately, life, circumstances and people change. Not sure at this stage if I believe that a forever can happen, even though I do want to share the rest of my life with someone.
I was lucky to narrowly walk away from a relationships before kids, mortgage etc.
I want to share my life with someone and not just living space, a mortgage and responsibilities - that's what does make it difficult to find someone wanting the same and not just someone.
Unfortunately, life, circumstances and people change. Not sure at this stage if I believe that a forever can happen, even though I do want to share the rest of my life with someone.

Overbearing,shy,boring,opinionated,stuck in ways,in love with themselves,self centred or selfish,very picky,false opinion of their worth. I could go on. And I have to be honest and add fat,old and ugly,even if your not meant to say it.
being widowed is only an excuse in the short term,and liking my freedom is just soothing your ego.
before anyone gets angry with me,i suffer from at least three of these,luckily i know it,most don't,or don't want to admit.
