Lots of American men, collect watches. (4 or more) Especially White collar men. I guess if you have to wear a suit and tie everyday.. you would want something that shows individuality and financial status (and it is the only acceptable jewelry, other than cufflinks).

No watch at all, I usually use my phone to check the time, but... now in my country I can get a penalty from the pigs when I loook on my phone while driving. So maybe I should buy a watch again. Or maybe make some kind of clock on my steer, but I'll bet it will be stolen.
A Chronograph for me & for practical reasons Large Fce easy to read and i uses a stop watch frequently for my interests - The real Breitling Navitimer Automatics are far to costly but I am not a snob. The Swiss made Navitimer Replica Automatics with Valjoux movements are excellent value, as are the Quartz kinetic versions. - Having a proper screwed back makes the battery very easy to replace. -- I own a Sekonda 1056 Quartz with a stainless strap which cost me GBP50 last year & does all I need but I see they have stopped making it now.so when I need to. BUT I aim to get a Navitimer replica anyway soon, which I see are less than GBP120 .
I had this watch 20 years ago although it was all gold. Someone I was dating got it from American Express from me. I loved that watch even though I'm not fond of the mousey characters
I don't wear a watch anymore. There's a lot of places around me the time is displayed and if not I can ask someone. People love it when they can be helpful.
