How can you vote on a Country Ali? I could say England, because I'm English, born n bred there. Then again, I could say Spain because that's where I live now. Yet again, I could say America because I spend a lot of time there. It's the "people" not a *Country*. Here in my community, where I live is multicultural. English. Irish,Welsh, Swedish. Finnish. German. Russian, Polish, Norwegians etc... How could I vote for a Country when I love the *people* here from many "Countries"?

I know you replied to Ali, but you make a very good point...Good people are wherever you can find them, And they seem to be few and far between...
Canadians are known for being polite, friendly and down to earth Ali
Obviously an entire nation cannot be judged as there are bad seeds everywhere but from my personal experience, as well as those who participate on here, they're a pretty good bunch

Thank you Larry, I've learned a lot through living in a multicultural urbanised community. When I fly over to the Uk to visit my family or visiting my friend in the US for 2 months at a time. I know that my apartment will be "safe" no matter how long I'm away. I have "friends" not all English. That will check up on my apartment daily. They check that my fridge/freezer is still working. They empty my "mail box" etc.. lol.......
They are NOT all English. Put your "trust" in people/friends, not a *Country*. Don't "TAR" everyone with the same brush, as we say in England.... Thanks again Larry

You are Welcome, I try to choose my Friends carefully, but it does take a long time to get to know someone. They have to earn My Trust....and have seen many times even choosing them carefully, at times we still end up getting burned...I think the older we become, the more skeptical we are.. It is sad that it has to be that way, but that's the way it is..
secretagent09: I agree about Canadians. Very polite
Oh! the quote is working now....
I've never been to Canada but I do watch "Border Control" on CBS Reality on TV where some Canadians take the "wrong turn"? and end up at the Canadian/ American Border. Please don't take this the "wrong way" as I'm a Brit but I just can't differenciate the two accents. I can tell a down south American accent but my friend in NJ has the same accent to me as a Canadian accent.
Please don't "jump" on me all at once...... I'll be going to "Judge Moody" or is it Judy

Haha yes it can be difficult to differentiate between an American accent and a Canadian one
But thanks to a Canadian person off here who visited me (everywhere we went people thought he was American ) and with skyping a good online friend from Canada, I now can pick a Canadian with no probs whatsoever

I can tell a Manchester Accent from a London Accent and we are English lol. I can tell a Southern American Accent from a Northern American Accent but I can't tell from a Northern American Accent from a Canadian Accent.
Does that make sense? I'm confuffled with myself now
Japan would be the most polite although polite is neither friendly or down to earth necessarily. Diplomacy is fake and the Japanese are an advanced race of extraterrestrials maintaining an embassy on earth. They are polite with all but live only amongst their own friends and family.
Friendly I might vote Ireland.
And down to Earth I’ll just say rural. To live in nothing larger than a small town.
They don’t come from a country so much as from the country. Apart from Japan who are more like villagers only they’re not.
The least of all three are the Jews I think. Not necessarily in a bad way I just think they’re very modern, very urban, very much the way things are going in the sense of a species highly evolved to the moral swamp of the city.
