Only when my horse stepped on my foot and then wouldn't get off of it. She crushed many bones in it.Ouch a broken ankle, I nearly broke mine about 4 years ago, but It was a severe sprain, It took me 3 months before I could walk without crutches.

I came off a horse which was galloping flat out down the side of a steep hill. Came out of the saddle, summersaulted over it's head, landed on the rocks and rolled 6 metres down crashing through tree branches and hitting jagged rocks all the way down.
From that, all I sustained a broken toe...

February 2005,fell about 30 feet off a scaffold,broke one rib.I was also doing snow removal on the side for this woman at the time ,and went to shovel her snow 2 days after I BROKE MY RIB using one hand because I couldn't find anybody to replace me.
It took me an hour and a half to do her steps,but I got the job done.

Didn't break a bone till I hit my 30's...since then have had a broken bone in my foot, broken nose, four fingers broken, 2 broken toes, one of which I did during the week......
I need to be wrapped in cotton wool.....

I broke(shattered ) my heel last summer
drove my tibia straight thru it, a plate, some pins and a cadaver bone graft later---it was a life changing event!!!
One stupid poor judgement!
May I recommend to never jump off a dock if you do not know how deep the water is? Ironically enough, I was the second person in the emergency room that day who had done the same thing and had the same outcome~~~~they dont let you walk or weight bear for 3 months with a broken bell, by the way.

Only thing close is when I cracked my kneecap and top of the tibia from falling up a set of marble steps (no give there lol). But I managed to save the bowl of sweet & sour sauce I carrying.

Twice to date. First time a couple ribs playing sandlot football. The last an ankle while attempting to ski. 3 mos. in a cast with the ankle - that REALLY sucked!!
