we just helped a shipment over to sheik mohammed(dubai) for endurance horses last year.......he comes to aus all the time to compete in the tom quilty gold cup, and train with our finest trainers (toft endurance)

hahahaha.....i wish!!!!..........nah strictly business,he has other people doing all the 'dirty' work, but the horses are kept in conditions better than you or me!!!......... not that they were my horses, but i helped select the particular order of endurance horses for their skin color/height/bone/heart rate/conformation/heat vulnerability, and was over there for a week at a time to make sure they settle in, so every year would do a few days over to other countries.......do it once a year, since about 1995....but i aint heading to afghanistan again for awhile.......
it would be a bit like this now...................
might i add also that with the purchase of the new stallion (did i mention before he is the grandson of a world champion), i will be venturing into the field of arabian racing, overseas, as it is only a 'hobby' in australia

and yes he gets up at 2am, drinks coffee out of a flask and picnics like everyone else, then rides the whole 160klms in between 12-16hours on his own, no-one hlding his hand..........
man this is one tough horse race and only arabians/part arabians horses are known to be able to do it successfully

Do you have numbers to back that up? And what's the price tag for that? I already pay more than my fair share in taxes. between state and federal, I already only net about 40% of my own frigging income. WE might as well be Europe.

I must address still another irrational rant from the doomsdayers and the Blame America First Crowd.
Please don't whine about the "disaster" that the US has made to the planet, when the collectivist countries (China, India, former Soviet Union and its former Eastern European enlightened socialist "satellites") have left more stink in the air and in the ground than a legion of enviroterrorists could clean up in three Algore lifetimes. China has three times our population, and India is growing faster than Dunkin Donuts and Subway can create franchises.
I always thought it amusing during the '80s that the West German Greens would howl like bothered banshees about the US sins, yet fail to turn their nordic noses eastward to smell the stench coming from across the barbed wire from their enlightened Ossi brethren in Dresden or Leipzig, puttering along in their little Trabbies, who would have flunked more emissions tests than the aged beer quaffing patrons at a Munich beer hall, who still can fart in unison.
