You hang with the worlds wealthiest 1%. You have sheik mohammed(dubai)over for tea and help him out with his horses... since sheiks don't hang out with just anyone, you really have to be someone. The rich woman on the block.

hahahaha.....i wish!!!!..........nah strictly business,he has other people doing all the 'dirty' work, but the horses are kept in conditions better than you or me!!!......... not that they were my horses, but i helped select the particular order of endurance horses for their skin color/height/bone/heart rate/conformation/heat vulnerability, and was over there for a week at a time to make sure they settle in, so every year would do a few days over to other countries.......do it once a year, since about 1995....but i aint heading to afghanistan again for awhile.......
it would be a bit like this now...................
might i add also that with the purchase of the new stallion (did i mention before he is the grandson of a world champion), i will be venturing into the field of arabian racing, overseas, as it is only a 'hobby' in australia

might i just add zee.....no its not the richey rich he REALLY hangs out with, its actually all the incredibly talented and knowledgeable horsey people...yes believe it or not!! heres the proof....
MEG WADE, QUILTY ENTRANT: Our major client is Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, who's the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, and the Crown Prince of Dubai, and he's also the largest owner of thoroughbred horses in the world, of Godolphin and the Darley Stud.
(he rode that year on a toft-bred horse bremervale justyce, but was vetted out on a high-heart rate).....
and yes he gets up at 2am, drinks coffee out of a flask and picnics like everyone else, then rides the whole 160klms in between 12-16hours on his own, no-one hlding his hand.......... man this is one tough horse race and only arabians/part arabians horses are known to be able to do it successfully

Just because you're rich doesn't mean you can't ride horses. Remember, I live in Kentucky, home of the Kentucky Derby.... Horse breeders here ride horses too.

(the first guys leading his CHESTNUT horse up the hill in the blue shirt and helmet is sheik mohammed)
How many horses die in these races? How many riders?
I am not saying that it has to be easy for the rich to be involved... just that you have to be rich to be involved. Wealthy people tend to put a much higher price tag on their adrenalin rush. This is where the 1%ers come to play.
Bush is the reason we are in the mess we are in. As for Obama, since he has been in office he has wrote a budget that will (in 2 year) cut the nations de in half. Also, he has given people on assitants a 13% increase. As for our troops, he is slowly moving them closer than ever to finding terrorist than Bush ever got.

Do you have numbers to back that up? And what's the price tag for that? I already pay more than my fair share in taxes. between state and federal, I already only net about 40% of my own frigging income. WE might as well be Europe.

Dan0340: Boy they really can't stand the fact that the country couldn't wait to get rid of them can they RQ? Now all they can do is sit on the bench and complain about being taken out of the game. Don;t they see how foolish they make themselves look? But it's great entertainment! The more the whine the more I laugh!
NordicSkier: In the 1970s they were freaking out about global cooling
they= one article in newsweek, lol.
Yo Nordic, you can just FEEL the anger dripping off of your posts. Instead of hamfistingly pounding your keyboard in a slobbering rage, why not hop on your NordicTrack and do a few reps or whatever it takes to lower your blood pressure a bit.
I know it hurts to watch your dream team make a disaster of the US/planet over the last 8 years, but stroking out in a cyberfury isn't going to help things one bit.

I must address still another irrational rant from the doomsdayers and the Blame America First Crowd.
Please don't whine about the "disaster" that the US has made to the planet, when the collectivist countries (China, India, former Soviet Union and its former Eastern European enlightened socialist "satellites") have left more stink in the air and in the ground than a legion of enviroterrorists could clean up in three Algore lifetimes. China has three times our population, and India is growing faster than Dunkin Donuts and Subway can create franchises.
I always thought it amusing during the '80s that the West German Greens would howl like bothered banshees about the US sins, yet fail to turn their nordic noses eastward to smell the stench coming from across the barbed wire from their enlightened Ossi brethren in Dresden or Leipzig, puttering along in their little Trabbies, who would have flunked more emissions tests than the aged beer quaffing patrons at a Munich beer hall, who still can fart in unison.
I guess good fences DO make good neighbors.
I don't hamfistly pound the keyboard; I can only imagine what things that you pound in the darkness, however.
