Please don't whine about the "disaster" that the US has made to the planet, when the collectivist countries (China, India, former Soviet Union and its former Eastern European enlightened socialist "satellites") have left more stink in the air and in the ground than a legion of enviroterrorists could clean up in three Algore lifetimes. China has three times our population, and India is growing faster than Dunkin Donuts and Subway can create franchises.

Beautiful horse. Well these races have a much better track record than the Kentucky Derby and the horses are run harder for longer distances on un-groomed surfaces.

Hi Bodhi. Smith was in office quite a while if I remember right. Oh well I don't delve into politics much but want my home state to be rightly represented from different angles. So how's the weather out there?

why heck, we just signed off on kyoto, and that was only because now we have a labor government......BUT ALL COUNTRIES (AND PEOPLE) NEED TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR HELPING LOWER THE EARTHS COOLING MECHANISM.....
i agree with you on the fact that yes the it is well documented, that the earth goes through cycles of cooling and warming, however, through the industrialisation over the last 150 or so years, the temp has been going up for more years, than it has gone down..........
if you want to hide your head in the snow and think global warming isnt a problem, come to australia now....you'll see it with your own eyes..........
however we are digressing here, back to topic please.........

Fair to partly rainy. And Gordon brought it on himself. We've a lot of Reagan Dems here in Oregon, and a lot of moderate Repubs. Gordon didn't walk the moderate voting line that got him elected while Bush was in office and it hurt him bad.
The Bushes are not well-loved in Oregon. They don't call it little Beirut for nothing.

yes i cant stand steeplechases and hurdle races......they are trying to get them banned over here..one in every ten horses dies in those in those races........was at a race meeting once wherew there was a jumps race, horse landed akwardly and his hole bottom leg flew off.....it was disgusting......the things people do for money eh?????????

First we were hearing "Wait until Obama gets into office", then it was "give him a chance, see what he does in his first month", then it was 2, 3 and 4 months. Then we started hearing a year, then his first term, then he may not get it fixed in his first term, wait for his second.
Geez, now I'm hearing that we need to give Obama 50 years to see if he's done a good job. We might as well just give him a pass and expect nothing out of him.... The presidential welfare system.

And since antifreeze is green (at least Prestone is), so the more I use, the more I'll go green. (If the truth be known, the only good things that are green are in the wallet, and God knows, the Obamathugs want to get their hands on those).
I'll make sure I flush and fill my radiators more often and then toss the empty Prestone jugs in the nearest landfill or by the side of the road and drive by them periodically. We'll see if it degrades sooner than Obama's popularity. (Prestone has been around along a long time, and I am sticking with it).
