yes he is a great orator and what is wrong with that btw?
but i am annoyed that he and no candidate addresses my issue and a big reason they dont is that the population i care about arent voters
i am discussing the invisible america the over 1 million children that went to bed hungry tonight (these numbers are pre-recession or whatever we are calling this economy) the half million of those kids that are homeless and in a car tonight in this great country of ours
it is shameful it is a heartbreak and it is what we should be as concerned about as any hardship happening anywhere else
except the everywhere else gets all the money press and attention thats my heart talking as an american this is a great shame for me
yea, where's the concern for them, these days...or any other day, for that matter?
Conrad73: 'Cause it is becoming UNLIMITED,metastatic like any other Cancer!
You give the government power, of course they are going to increase it at will. It's the nature of the beast. It's worse yet, when the people willingly allow themselves to become sheep to the slaughter.

desmond: I agree that a waist but since you are so great a googling can you go back and tell us all how much moneny the almight GWB and Cheney waisted doing dumb stuff over the last 8 years.I been in this site for almost 3 years and have never seen anyone one really bashing the president before last summer I guess because he was your guy.
I had problems with GWB as well, Desmond. Specifically Katrina, the way it was prepared for and handled. And I thought that the Iraq war reasoning was wrong.
But these are more recent events. Not attached to the economy, where many would say....President Obama inherited a mess. And the target here is not always Obama...... only 3 of the 6 are
He's the first president in my lifetime that seems to know what he's doing. It also pleases me to no end that so many angry and ingnorant people seem quite comfortable to spew gargage day after day trying to convince the rest of the country to hate themselves as much as they do.
There is not a shred of doubt in my mind that Obama is doing a great job as president at this point. He is systematically undoing many of the agregious executive orders that Bush put in place and as most people can see, he's wasting no time in this effort. Trust me, this is just the beginning of the task of restoring the morality and image of America in the world. The voters of this country made a horrible mistake when they elected Bush in 2004. I don't count 2000 because that was a fixed election IMO. I never thought I'd see the day when a president of the United States would think it was right to torture anybody or spy on the public without a court order or imprison an American citizen without being charged or even allowing him access to a lawyer. This is not the America I grew up in!
Obama is putting this country back on track after being derailed by a blithering idiot. I couldn't be happier with the job Obama is doing so far and I'm sure there will be many more good things to come. At the rate this president is correcting the last 8 years of the Bush debacle, he probably won't even need a second term.
BebeII: Thank you Conrad-Tis amazing that so many will give the government so much power in the name of compassion and fairness, when all their doing is tightening the noose around their own necks.
I don't know how much of this is factual but according to the world wide news reports I read stated where people were attacking and still are attacking Obama's stimulus package and were just wondering if everyone had/has forgotten the failed stimulus package Bush put through towards the end of his term which went to CEOs of companies and failed to do any meaningful changes? Also According to news reports that these very same CEOS of those companies took the money and went on extravagant trips with other execs and how one even spent $1M to redecorate his office.
kidatheart: What would you have him do? Start another war? Nuke 'em? Funny how so many want to blame all that ails America on someone who's only been in office for 3 months.

Conrad73: I hear that "HOOVER" has another line of Vacuum-Cleaners,called the "O'BAMA"!
Yes it's true Conrad, it is a newly designed vaccuum that takes someone else's spill/mess and just pushes it around the room until the whole carpet is ruined, and you can't unplug it, it won't shut off!!!! So it takes all the good responsible carpet fibers money to try and fix the already ruined carpet.

Da10th: We've had socialism in this country for decades, all the sudden it's a problem?
No one lives under a purely capitalist or socialist economy-it is a matter of degree as to state intervention in the economy. The problem is that it's getting worse as time goes on.
