I agree. You can't have a list of greatest footballers that ever lived without including Georgie Best. But then there is always going to be footballers left out that someone disagrees with. Also Cantona was a legend. I do think its a bit soon for Kaka or Ronaldo to be included yet though. Maybe after they are finished playing, they will be considered one of the best that ever lived........JMO

I had the pleasure of watching George Best many times
in the late sixties. Many's the time we have left Old
Trafford in awe of what we had just witnessed knowing
we had been part of the priveledged 60,000. In those
days cameras were at few grounds and Bestie seemed to
turn it on when the cameras werent present. The old
footage you see of him does not really do justice to
the man's true genius.

Used tothink George Best was terrific to watch when I was a teen, also round the time we got our first tV set.
As for Maradonna... my kids adored him.... Til he made us ashamed because he took drugs... and at the point...

I have to go with Pele'. But Best, Bechanbauer, Cyruff are all on his heels in my opinion.
I saw Pele' do some amazing things on a pitch with a ball, in full stride and under pressure. So...he gets my vote.
