What the Republicans are opposed to, if you'd check, is adding to the deficit. They want to take the $$$ from Obama's slush (stimulus) fund. That's the only issue.
Personally I think the 99'ers should start being weened off the government tit. Maybe reduce the benefits by 10% every 3 months.

Yep, but it was during the Carter years.
Oddly enough, pennies turn into nickels, nickels to dimes, dimes to quarters, quarters to dollars. Ya know Dude, the attitude that all this money handed out came from no one is what got us into this mess; under Bush and Obama. All of it adds up.

Know we have been friends for at least 35 yrs. He is one of the laziest people I know.
IF he were without a job after 10, he would want 15..lol

PS: I was on unemployment about a month. Required to apply for 3 jobs a week to continue benefits.
Seems the only people who sees American recovering are the ones from other counties. Every day people are losing their jobs but these countries are seeing us recovering. They are also the o people who think Obama is good for America but don't see all the crap that he's doing like spending money we don't have. Case in point, his trip to India the day after the mid-terms elections. Rumor has it that it was in excess of $200,000,000.00 a day which was for the 3000 aids that he took, the rooms for everyone, the flights over and for security. Yeah, America is recovering alright, and Obama is trying to build America up, not destroy it.

FYI....the FED Treasury that also does economic reports.....came out with one today....that says the high unemployment rate of the country is going to with us for 'several years' in to the future.
That even though the GNP is rising, structural unemployment within the economy still is occuring. Hence the high unemployment rate for several years.
Well cough cough.....if that is the case...does it not make great sense to stimulate your best job creator? The small business sector? If you have structural unemployment....do you stimulate the service sectors like banking, insurance, health care. Or do you stimulate your goods and service sectors.....like auto manufacturing, small biz, agr and general exporting?
People don't say it...but Obamacare is a type of stimulus package for health care. They shuffled money are from one area to another...but billion of increase spending were done.
The TARP was done to large bailout the super wealthy banks and insurance firms.Toss in some for the Auto makers and thier unions.
Right now the summer of recovery had turned into the fall of confidence in the Obama administration and is quickly heading into the winter of discontent by unemployed American public.
