The principle reason that the Obama model Volt is projecting sales of 15,000 unit? High price. The Obama Model Volt is going to sell at near $45,000. Rats, funny things happen when you move to a socialist managed government.
Now I know Dude considers this nagging...that the American auto consumer....should be on his knees and thanking the White House for the Volt. But as they say on the used car lot, a lemon is lemon....and I rather you have it, than me.
Other than having a nice exterior and interior look, the Volt is a It has the get up and go of a snail and the its electric power is only good for 40 miles. Then you turn on a 3 cylinder motor, that is little larger than your mower for cutting grass. Its mileage is 40 mpg, a respectful figure. But you got to charge the battery every 40 miles. Either by use or cord. Just a minute let me run out side and plug my Volt in. You don't mind if I siffon some Kws from you today?
I think we can use the Volt in our war on terrorism. We give some to the Taliban and alQeada in Afghanistan...and in Yemen. Tell them they are gifts from the Obama Administration for all the touchie feelies that the TSA is getting at present. When the Volt runs out of juice....in swoops the Predator to finish off bin laden and al-Awlaki. They don't have many electric out lets in these remote area were these boys ride.

If you listen to the REP pundits....they say the TEA Party is what turned the tide for the REP canidate. You need to put a honest handle on how DEM lost 60 seats in the Congress. Just telling us that BHO is the greatest thing since sliced bread....does not work any more.

The US is to begin talk with NKorea......and guess what? Now it back to 6 party talks. Dang, guess old GWB had it right back then.....when he first put the 6 party talks together. Dang and your contributing blogger white paper that the 6 party was the way to go.......
The US SKorean envoy.....Stephen Bosworth....announced in Soul. When he said the following "My crystal ball is foggy but I would never call any process dead. We have hope to that we will be able to resucitate them."
If that is not diplomatic double talk......then please leave your hat at the door. Stephen does not want to show the administration weak in the area. After failing to get a SKoran trade agreement and now being forced to use the 6 party talks again.
The Korean issue has so badly been handled by the present Administration...it is amazing that the SKorean are letting Americans set foot into their country. They registered that by holding off on signing the trade agreement.
It started with Washington's half hearted support of SKorean when the Chonan was sunk. The SKorean wanted to take the issue to the UN Security Council. Only good old Washington step in deflected it from going there. No reason to rattle those sabers, when only 46 Skorean died. Maybe the number for saber rattling is 200 deathes, who know....only Washington does.
Washington response the Chonan sinking was to surface a cruise carrying boomer near NKorea...placing it and it crew into danger. Latter we have two boomer captian stand the Captian mast....for saying things critical of the Administration. Those things are still non public....the trials have not ended yet.
Then President Obama, who had already done a reset on the trade pact already agreed to at the end of the GWB last term. Want to to do his trade pact for the Obama Asia show of recent. Only the SKorean bowed politely and turned collective their backs to him. They were still ticked about the Chonan and his nampy pampy response to it.
Now NKorea show a nuc material process plant to a American scientist...
and the 6 party talks are going to 'resucitated'. Placing China and Russia into the driver seat on the talks....Obama has lost the figurative head of them. It was he that broke them up, when he want to individually engage NKorea.
So this is a unmitigated disaster that he has going in Korea. How one man can lose the political influence, prestiges and power of the Office of the Presidency so fast in a mere two year of residency....is amazing in Koreas.
What works in European diplomacy, does not work in Korea were the DMZ is the most fortified zone in the world. But that is exactly how the Obama administration has played this. They played the Chonan sinking as if it was a friendly fire incident. Or a accident. It was not...it was a act of war by a country that torn up the truce agreement months earlier.
The SKorean response was not accidental. They let President Obama hang on the Trade Pact signing till the last minute.....then walked away.
They fired a broad side into his Asia trip that he is still reeling from. Basically saying....we don't need the US trade. Not when we sit so close to monster China.
Well the SKorea/US relationship was develop during the Korean war....that cost the United States....53,000 in deaths. President Obama has been able in two short years...make them all null, void and irrelevant. One might even say...in vain deaths.
