Yep...I've used them:

One time many years back...I was raising a window, and needed something to hold the window open...had a pair of chop sticks laying around, and used them then.

Worked pretty good. conversing

its pretty amazing. i must say i am not overly adept at using them, but they dont worry me to use except with rice. a bit messy roll eyes laugh
