BB_snickers: We have a helm? During Bush's reign of terror, the US and Canada signed an agreement that 'allows' either country to put boots on the ground of their neighbors, if there where any civil unrest. And that term, 'civil unrest' wasn't clearly defined in the document.
Sure we do, and Stevie' at the big wooden wheel, smiling gayly with a stoned as hell look in his eyes. He can hardly wait to yank on the string for the big brass bell.
Ok, maybe out Navy is a little more advanced than that, we have subs at West Edmonton Mall, that work.
Plenty of laws were drawn up, prior to the "war on terrorism" and to further subjugate the people around the world, just waiting until Crimbo's Eve to pass them while there was nobody around to say no.
time4fun4u: So,let me get this straight, from what you have said. If a terrorist wanted by Russia(who have some crack units)was in your home town, you would have no problems them appearing in the middle of the night, shooting them, then going. You would have no ill feelings about Russia entering your country? Secondly, you mention skills and money. So,its okay then if you have the money and skills to go around in life dealing with matters as you see fit, because "we are bigger than you"?
Sure, russia is probably still doing this but under cover as mafia.

BB_snickers: Conrad!? You're slipping! ... I'm astonished, err well maybe just gabberflasted that you missed this. This was done shortly after that 'iffy' Patriot Act and Bush's notorious 'signing declaration'.
NCC1968: If we went in simply to kill innocent people maybe, but to apprehend a confessed mass murderer who vowed to do more....into a friendly nation no less....
If I go blow up the tower in Toranto full of Canadians and drive back home will you come get me? Can we call you a terrorist for it?
khan1459: no hav at er start with parliment buildings thou
so by todays standards would the people oridgionally responsible for there being a U.S. "of" A like john cul"prepper" patrik henry ect be shot as terrorists instead of the freedom fighters they were?
time4fun4u: Yes,i am glad the git is dead, and yes,the troops that did it,did a proffessional job,but i have to laugh at the way it is justified. The Chinese are the next one s for the Us to spend trillions on.....just in case
dont really hav a excuse to be in china and koreas bk door now do they
jvaski: The intended question posed was - Does the USA have the right to blast into another country with a secret mission without the permission of that country ?
The logical answer is no.....But logic does not play in the mind of a terrorist...So the bottom line is this, if the intended target is a wanted terrorist with much innocent blood on his/her hands and the host country cannot be trusted then yes, have at it.....Just like the the terrorist that killed the Israeli olympic wrestling team in Germany.....Hunt the dogs down wherever they may be and right or wrong be damned......
Onlyguy: Read my previous post, they wouldn’t have had to do that with a country like Canada as compared to Pakistan. That’s when the person making the call had to use his judgement and I’m sure it was a hard decision to take.
The weighing of the pro’s and the con’s.
Do we risk losing him again or do we strike? What if we fail? What will the Pakistan government think about us? What will the world think of us?
As far as I’m concerned he made the right move.
Oh , I get it ........so some countries are worthless and it's ok to just go in and do it .......

So, what you're saying is the respect for and illegally doing a military operation in another country can be completely ignored if the mission is rightious enough ....
Onlyguy: It looks more like there’s a lot you don’t get, one day you may understand
Oh, I understand perfectly - believe me ...... Many of today's problems are perpetuated by boneheads like yourself who get kicks outta Rambo missions. The concept of "Global Arena" is far beyond your reach....
They sure do as it is perfectly legal under UN law.
I searched for that UNSC resolution - but no luck. Pakistan Minister and others speculate that's true - but UN has been quiet on the issue apparently. Maybe it's the squeeky-wheel thing with this one huh Alberta ?

Show me in the UN resolutions Alberta where it suggests a country can unilaterally go into another country to take out terrorists.......... I don't think you can ........
