RE: Atheism, Theism and God

Thanks for sharing Soc.

RE: Atheism, Theism and God

I should add, I have heard God as being a loving God...but not love itself.

RE: Atheism, Theism and God

Hello Soc,

I am not sure if one should associate God as love. That is just new to me. I associate God as light.

If you are mistaken in associating God as love, then your correlation as Atheists as being loveless, is flawed.

Just my two cents...I really do not know.

Thankfully they have health insurance

Hello SR,

I realize it is difficult to set up a program that will make every last person happy. But, I would hate to be a cancer patient and have to rely on those certain types of medications. I am glad to hear that things are somewhat working out for you.

Thanks..

1to....

That is exactly what gets me upset. People that are sick are in a place of desperation and these companies know it. thumbs down For example....how quickly these cancer drugs increased and by how much.

Congrats with your health 1to. I agree 100%, a good diet and exercise is our best medicine. It is important for us, as people, to pay attention to our bodies and listen to its signals it is sending us early on to try and prevent any major issues.

Thanks...

cheers wave

Ken,

Given the way wealth is dispersed here, I would not be surprised if what you stated is correct. Health might just be a privilege. blues thumbs down

Thankfully they have health insurance

*not exactly sure why I have it.

Thankfully they have health insurance

Snook,

"Obama Care" just passed recently, otherwise I was a small business owner and could not afford the crazy premiums before. Now I have health insurance and from what I am hearing, I am not exactly sure I have it.

Thanks...

Thankfully they have health insurance

Capri,

I thought Obama's plan for national healthcare insurance was to offer people any health care that people need and to save people from the difficult choice of choosing between life and death, saving the left arm and not the right, or from being financially secure or broke. Guess not.

Good luck with your procedure. wave

RE: The Lamp of the Word Pt. 1

Thanks for sharing Keys.

RE: Body and soul

nice story.....

RE: what is a true man ? what is a true woman?

To me a "true" man is a provider and protector.

a "true" woman a nurturer and home maker.

now....

That does not mean that is what I expect in a relationship today. I am open to respect another's way of living...as long as it works for both parties in the relationship. My past relationship, we shared in all the duties and it worked out fine. We both provided, we both protected, we both nurtured and we were both home makers. But...in the grand design of the human being, I believe the initial statement to be correct. I am willing to be open to anyone's opinions...not saying mine is the gospel.

California in trouble?

Hello Luke,

That was my first concern too. Once I seen cars burning, that is a bit out of the usual for the fires I know about around there.

Thanks Luke.

California in trouble?

L.L.,

I would not be surprised if Pepps post a video, here on the blog, showing her ability to make a stone bleed. rolling on the floor laughing

....but....lol....here in Michigan, it has been like the tropics or the rainforest. We have had beatiful weather with plenty of rain. But, the storms we have been having seem to produce fairly high winds. There has already been one tornado this year about 25 mile from my place. They are calling for a chance of storms tonight (we have very high humidity tonight) and for sure storms on Sunday. It almost seems like one extreme to the next. Hopefully like 1to has said, this is not a sign of our future to come.

Hope you are doing well too L.L. How is your wrist?

California in trouble?

Hello 1to,

I agree. With all this talk of global warming and all the historical recording breaking weather phenomenon lately, mother nature is not anything to scoff at.

Thanks for sharing....didn't realize our neighbors from the north were suffering from drought conditions also.

wave ....take care as well.

California in trouble?

Usha,

Hello. Me too! I immediately think of a few bloggers we have here from California. I know Robert is in the northern part and he is tough about it....but, funnier things have happen in history.

It is nice to see you Usha. I hope all is doing just peachy in your world.

California in trouble?

Pepps, they really need you running this country, in California. grin

RE: On Pride and Humility - Final -

Thanks for the post Keys.

RE: Still waiting?

Cat....I recently loved the quote that somebody shared here on the blogs, "you cannot tell a crazy person they are crazy."

I wonder if you can tell a person not to be so picky if they do not think they are being picky? hmmm

cheers

California in trouble?

Wow Cc...that picture looks a lot worse than what they showed on the news.

The news anchor asked an official out in Cali if anyone got trapped. The official said he didn't think so, but he was not 100% sure.

RE: unconditional love, myth or reality?

Perhaps to somebody the term "unconditional love" really means, I want to control you. dunno A lot of good comments.

California in trouble?

Pepps...if you were the president of California, I am guessing they would not be in this position. You could make it mandatory that everyone in the country give them enough water and make the donators pay California for it. thumbs up

....but Pepps....I think everyone is okay on the freeway. thumbs up thumbs up

California in trouble?

Cham...if there was a way that was economical to pump water from the Great Lakes, I am guessing it would be over there by now. But, who knows, it might just happen. That is what I am thinking, you are thinking, when you say bail them out. grin
