Heavenly Father, in your Holy Son Jesus Christ name, I ask protection for India and the residents. For those that need shelter I pray that their neighbors, friends and even strangers to open their hearts and home to help those in need. Nothing is too big for you and I have faith in your mercy and grace! Amen!!
Happiness to me is Jesus Christ. Then He blesses me (a happy) then from there the love of God the Father (Agape love) has entered my life and then guess what? I'm happy.
I like them critters! Years ago I lived in this apartment behind this mans house. It had a huge backyard and under the concrete steps leading down to the backyard were these 3 huge turtles living under the steps. They had dug themselves little caves to live in!
Sleep in (it's my day off), register my new car, go see my doctor for a regular checkup, come home and nap, watch the LA Dodgers lose, wait for my GF so we can chat then go to bed!
Several years ago my wife, at the time, and I were in Arizona. We stopped at a hamburger joint and as we approached the window 2 young girls were talking about my brown complexion as "cancer" in a bigoted and derogatory way. Arizona is very prejudiced towards Hispanics, but I ignored her and went to the order window. Then the employees walked away snubbing me and my ex.
We left and in my mind I thought those 2 young girls just may get cancer themselves and I wonder if they will remember what they are saying about my brown skin if they happen to get it.
I suddenly stopped and said, "Whoa, Ed. It could happen to you, too". Sure enough, 30 years later I got cancer. I thanked the Lord for making me stop thinking vengeance!
Colombo used to make me laugh because he used his brain to solve crimes in the most unconventional way. Almost in a stupid way. I enjoyed the show. Peter Falk did a great job.
I don't usually read long blogs but something compelled me to read this one.
I was severely depressed for years. I know how Melissa felt. However, I wasn't assisted. I was arrested and sent to prison. I know depression. I am so happy it was over 30 years ago.
Finding God did it for me. Thank you Jesus. You get all praise and credit!
I will hold my tongue on this one but I will say this.
Boehner and his band of Tea Party'ers have just alienated, even more, the Asians, the Hispanics, the Blacks, undecided White people, laid off Federal employees, women and the SENIORS all to please his bosses. Boehners bosses? Two shameless extremely rich men named the Koch Brothers who are spearheading this insanity along with other shameless very rich donors.
Hillary is our next President and the majority of us "poor" Americans have spoken! Thanks to Boehner and his bunch of renegades!
