Years ago I had this boss that was always criticizing me for "moving alot".
Hee Hee! This guy criticized me for alot of other things including my long hair. This guy was as square as a bear and he thought everyone should be like him. NO THANKS!!!!
They had a dance in Ontario, CA that I went to. It was just like High School. Guys on one side and women on the other. The women only danced with you if you were A-1. Just like High School!!
Being from SoCal I did see that fire. It was about 25 miles from my home. I was on my way to Laughlin, Nevada so we were diverted to another freeway!
I didn't see the news nor was I close to our local newspapers but when I got home Sunday afternoon the fire was out because the Heavenly Father unleashed a big rainstorm right over that area so the blaze, I believe, was contained. Again, I haven't read the papers.
The "no water" problem is a surprise. There are about 5 huge lakes within flying distance of the huge aircraft used to fight these fires. What could have been the problem of the aircraft not flying could have been because, again, some knucklehead was flying a drone AGAIN!
SoCal people can get pretty bold and stupid sometimes. These aircraft have to be grounded so they won't hit these drones.
I invariably think about being somewhere like your pic when i see stuff like this. I really wish sometimes I could just get up and move there. But my beautiful children and G-kids also make me want to stay here so I do.
I'm like Usha. I can see misspellings and some are pretty hilarious.
I thought for sure this blog was going to be how the youngsters nowadays have their own vocabulary. It's annoying but perhaps it's a thing of the future.
Can't spell? No problem. Just start your own vocabulary!
You know, it can happen to anyone and it almost happened to me until I ate crow and asked my sister if I could move in. By "eating crow" I mean that I swore to myself I would never to turn to this sister for help. She was the kind of person that tried to orchestrate everyone's life to her way. She was so obstinate she wouldn't understand that people live the way they do and outside interference is not allowed.
I lost my job, I had divorced my wife and things fell apart. I am not a big drinker, gambler, druggie or ANY of that. I just had the misfortune of marrying a woman who thought everything she had was hers and everything I had was hers too.
But I worked hard and things worked out. I have now been cruising well for about 26 years now.
My heart goes out to these people but now that I have moved into this new town I don't help anyone. There are so many beggars one may get asked 3 to 4 times a day.
Besides California has a great network of helping those down. We even have a free cell phone program! There's enough free stuff to keep people begging, but thy still do.
Of all the Filipinos I have known not many like me. But the very very few that do have been very good friends. I suppose it wasn't your Friendship Day or maybe I'm just not likable.
My nefew is married to one and she just does not like me but I don't care because when the dislike is that close I just stay away and that's what I do with her.
