Glatlol, I realize you're thinking is a bit limited at times, but the "OP" as you casually refer to him, is a well-balanced, sincere and intelligent person.
As for you my lady, you enjoy cutting people up as though you were preparing them for dinner! YOU remind me of the witch in that fairy tale....Hansel & Gretel.
You know, I really enjoy my work and can't imagine retiring. But once I'm cremated and my ashes are scatter somewhere in the southwest, I think I'd just like to hang out and be lazy.
Why am I so surprised that 99% of people look at politics as an opportunity for yet another lame worn hackneyed joke, rather than realize how those in office are fundamentally changing the real world as we know it...and not for the better!
Catfoot Around here, Cape Town South Africa 2 hours ago "Hi Abagail, Thanks for dropping in. You must talk to that fellow countrymman of yours. He's giving Aussieland a bad name as people may think all Aussies are like him and I know they're not.
Mind you, I don't know how you're going to do that as he's making his statements without taking comments. Just like a small dog barking at the top dogs and the run away when they look his way."
Perhaps Waf doesn't have the ease of conversation that you apparently possess, however, Waf is esteemed as a man, which does seem to elicit a rather petty and vindictive reaction from 'men' such as you.
Something tells me you spend more time trying to convince yourself of your own worth, while he knows his.
Oh by the way, Waf, and Parti before him, don't give Australians a bad name. But YOU, with your saccharine drivel, give the impression that South Africans SA men are .... lacking.
You know, someone was complaining about how quiet it was on the blogs lately and I almost responded by saying it's the lack of drama. Instead I left that one alone.
Rest your case all you like. I never disagreed with your case. I simply posed a larger one and for that you accused me of being one sided. I hope you and your case have a very nice day.
I'll tell you why the government is currently shut down. The house voted in agreement with the budget bill with one exception...they voted not to fund obamacare. The senate voted for cloture, which blocks any debate (negotiation). In other words, the democrat party refuses to negotiate. It's all or nothing. The democrats have forced closure of the federal government. Those are the facts and you are free to do a little fact finding of your own. No need to take my word for it.
Adam, the woman from yesterday's incident in DC did not have a gun. But apparently she did have a history of mental illness and may possibly have been on an antidepressant.
