I know this is a setback and very discouraging, but learn everything you can from it. You could very well save yourself additional or worse losses in the future. One day you may even look back on the experience and realize that it was a good thing it happened because of what you learned from it.
By the way, check with your insurance agent. Even if you think its a waste of a call. Commercial policies aren't as cut and dry as personal insurance. You might have a lower deductable that applies to theft. Unless you already know where you stand?
Looks are not the only factors that matter when you are looking for a life partner. If the guy doesn't have a car (and you don't live in a city where having a car is mostly optional) and the woman does have a car, that can be uncomfortable. What about people that don't have a photo on their profile who want you to 'give them a chance'?
We all have certain requirements and/or preferences and that is not a bad thing. Actually, it's a good thing. As long as we are not unreasonably demanding or unrealistic.
Sometimes its good to talk about your problems. Sometimes its also good to write them down. Maybe keep a journal. By doing that we can look at our situation and come up with some answers. Or maybe discover how we can change to make things better.
Friendship is a two way road and it can't just go one way. It must go both ways. When the road is always going their way and not your way, then you know you need to find a better friend.
That's true, Ed. I don't know about you, but many of my refrigerator magnets are for holding something on the fridge. Like a bill that I need to pay asap, or phone numbers or a reminder or some misc thing that's been there forever and needs to be removed. Some of my magnets were made by my sons when they were little and they'll be there forever. Anyway, I guess I'm a weirdo as I have no pictures on my fridge.

RE: I got robbed.
Oh yeah, don't forget as a loss this would be an expense and therefore tax deductable, right?
