Okay, you asked for it. I've often been tempted to do an advice blog for the infinite numbers of hopelessly clueless men so obviously in desperate need of dating help. I know...they don't want it, but they need it.
An interesting blog. I wasn't aware there was a term for such marriages other than what I've often read as termed a "marriage of convenience". I've read that a modern day president has such a marriage.
Must agree with virgo; the timing of Petraeus' resignation and the related scandal is a distraction made in heaven. Massive voter fraud and, of course, the horror of Benghazi and the CIA's insistence that no orders to 'stand down' were issued by them...leaving only zero himself culpable. I say he should be subpeona'd anyway as well as HC, whether she resigns or not. Doesn't matter.
I work in the commercial insurance industry. We've lost a lot of business due to companies going out of business. We've laid off at least a third of our people in the last 4 years...and we are one of the healthier wholesalers out there! I know firsthand what it's like to be unemployed. I am sick with worry for everyone effected by this turn of events.
