I am a certified expert of zombies and one thing I have learned is that zombies are ALWAYS in denial of their zombie state and ALWAYS believe that others are zombies and not their selves. So, George, have you been feeling a bit sluggish lately? Have you found yourself wandering around cemetaries carrying on about "brains"???
Yeah, Cat. I did notice the location of the 's and did realize you were not poking fun at me so much as at yourself. Americans are not so very dense after all.
Judgement is one thing. We all of us constantly make instant judgements during the course of our waking moments. We even do this in dreams. It helps us to stay alive.
Rudeness, on the other hand, is an action that is taken. The wine lady was clearly rude and unprofessional. And then again, maybe you reminded her of her x?
Cat, there is no doubt that women can be hurtful and unfeeling. Sounds like you've been on the receiving end recently. I hope not, but if so, I'm sorry.
I have a theory that this world has, in general, become hurtful and callous, even within families and that (again, in general) lost our ability to be loving because we are going thru life trying not to get hurt. Does that make any sense?
Obscuritan, isn't life interesting? I didn't grow up going to church and we didn't have much to do with God. Oh, on occasion, my mother would make mention of God as was convenient to her and usually dripping with sarcasm. It was after I was grown that I realized my need for God and went in search of answers.
We are free to accept or reject God as we wish. You've obviously made your choice. Belittle God all you like, but you're words no more make God a myth than I make the fact of your existence unreal by disagreeing with your assessment of God.
I basically agree with Serendipity. At best, he has been inconsiderate of you by leaving you hanging. At worst, well I shouldn't go there. Only he knows.
By all means, guard your heart. You deserve better than to have the rug pulled out from under you.
Halv0, there are many topics of discussion posted here that have nothing in the least to do with dating. If you are going to object to a post about God based on your opinion that it has nothing to do with dating, then I shall look forward to your posts on other blogs informing the OP that his/her blog is not date-worthy.
Idol, no. But I've long admired Dr Ben Carson, raised by a near-illiterate single mother in a low income section of Detroit and now director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins. His is not a rags to riches story, but a story of a mother who had faith in God, a belief in earning her own living and a determination that her sons could get an education, even while she herself could not read.
Sounds like the SagaZone members are a contentious lot in general, regardless of the subject matter whether political, religious, facebook, or length of membership.
There are a number of bloggers here that would fit your description, Serenity. It's nice to see words of encouragement here, no matter that we are clueless about who your praises are for.
Le papier ne sera jamais mort / Paper is not dead
Thank you, Dominique. I don't mind.
