Waf, I'm sure a wedding & reception can cost a lot more than $20K, but it certainly doesn't have to.
As for me, I wouldn't mind eloping, then having a reception of family and close friends to celebrate around a bonfire setting, with just enough of those small lanterns strung about to keep an eye on the kids and see the food tables, etc. And if it could be at the beach, all the better. Well, I guess getting Jesse Cook to play would cost a bit...
So, anyway, the point of this blog actually has nothing to do with the nonsense going on in any of the other blogs. Butt-dialing is when someone's phone randomly decides to call you and the owner of the phone has no idea that his phone is doing it. It's called "butt-dialing" because the phone is sitting inside of a man's back pocket and somehow it has been activated and begins to call people. It seems to be mostly a problem with so called "smart phones"! I don't understand how that happens if you turn off (lock the screen) of the phone before putting in your pocket. But it magically happens.
Also, it happens when you place little Ms Smart Phone in your purse!
I'm not sure how much courage I have. I enjoy talking and getting to know some of the people here, but if I could no longer come here I would have plenty of other things to do and people to talk with.
Rahul, I think it depends on who is getting the loving. If we are talking about the love of a parent for a child, I would agree with you.
However, when it comes to giving your heart to someone, I think some testing of the other's true feelings is a very smart thing to do. By testing, I mean that there should be proof. That proof may mean a big action. Or it may mean many smaller actions. But love is never proven with words alone. Action is required to prove the love.
Livet, I think all the la la la love love loves are a cover-up for something else entirely. Do you know the saying about the wolf in sheeps clothing? It is as if that person is trying to fool people into thinking there is a sheep when actually there is a wolf. What do you think?
I totally agree with you Soul. And the less I say on that subject the better. I save my political rants for facebook. (this is not a yawn, it's a bite). It's my new fav emoticon.
I speak American, some Spanish, Accounting, Underwriting and also English. I've always wanted to be fluent in Spanish.
P.S. filipina is not a language. It refers to a woman who is from the Philippines. A pinoy is a filipino male. Filipinos speak many languages, but the common language taught in the PI is Tagalog...no not the Girl Scout cookies. Those are Tagalongs
