I can't say I spend any time listening to Trump, but I wonder if he deliberately plays on the phenomenon.
It's jolly insidious if he does.
It might speak volumes about the self-, other- and social-awareness of his supporters. It might speak volumes about the esteem with which Trump regards his supporters.
I hope I don't get one of those ridiculously long scarves for my birthday. I can't manage ridiculously long hair and a ridiculously long scarf. I might not get to the rebirth bit.
Okay, I'm a little muddled about the history and sequence of events, but no matter.
Something in my own discussion history keeps coming back to me: A friend once expressed her disgust at some news footage of Eastern extremists celebrating the execution, or death of a person, or persons. I can't exactly recall, but I think it was one of those many hostage beheading situations.
It was at about the time Saddam Hussein was executed which was widely celebrated in the West, so I asked if 'we' hadn't exhibited the exact same behaviour.
We may look at Asia Bibi's case and say it's ridiculous, but we perhaps fail to introspect and acknowledge our own ridiculousness.
In the same way all acts of resistance against humanity contribute to an end result, so do all acts of resistance to humanity. Unless each of us takes responsibility for evolving our our own behaviour, we will find ourselves inadvertently contributing to and supporting acts of inhumanity.
If I want change, I have to start with me. Only then may I impact upon others with acts of humanity, or resistance against inhumanity.
So, an SJW might once have been described as 'resistance'?
Some risked their lives, some lost their lives, some were part of a team, some acted alone, some made small acts of resistance, even just in their thoughts which no one could see.
So, it's a way of categorising a group of people which may be used in a positive, neutral, or negative way without having to recognise individuality, or maybe humanity.
A bit like the way the words 'Christian', or 'Muslim' are used.
What would it take to re-establish your life back to what it was before you rented from this landlord?
Medical bills up until now, plus any future medical needs? Counselling to work through the mental anguish? A roof over your head in the future? Loss in earnings, past and future? Your rent money back? Loss of possessions? Anything you now need which you didn't when in full health, like maybe transport, or higher heating bills?
Just a few suggestions to help you with your maths.
