Elegsabiff, I scanned your blog during lunch from my cellphone and thought it was a keeper. A call came through and it was gone when I returned. What are the chances of re-posting it?
Molly, I'm sure they collect everything they hear. To make it work, it's linked to an app and the app has a transcript of all the questions and commends you give it.
Ken, thanks for your comment. We had a hurricane pass through here and knock out cellular communication for 10 days or so and the backup plan was wi-fi. That's really the only time I used it.
Two phones and tablets on a family plan for $145 a month includes payments for a new phone. That's a lot for the average person. I can appreciate someone on a budget going to the library or a cafe to get internet.
My parents bought a house with tall bushes that bordered to one neighbor. It was said we owned the bushes and (for years) trimmed them as needed. That included walking around to the neighbors side to complete the task. Bushes tend to grow into trees and we decided to chop them out. Who threw a fit? The neighbor.
Putting up a fence in the city requires a permit. That establishes ownership. Is that different where you live?
"It's nice to have the money and a means to do what one likes. As long as one stays in control. But many times, doing what one likes trespasses into the darker realms of life, stepping over everybody and everything. Then it's the money that's controlling one's life."
I know a few business owners who believe it's a service to squeeze their employees and pay them less than their worth... The "I gave you a job" attitude goes a long way in their book.
Interesting thought Jim. I knew a wannabe opera singer who used to go around to retirement homes singing karaoke for Broadway hits and popular songs of 50 years ago. She found out many of these places have money set aside in their budgets for entertainment.
Any man you meet would be different than what you are seeking. If he values you and the relationship he (if he's smart) will change/adapt to suit you and your needs.
wenever, I'm 5 miles from the beach and actually had some first dates along the coast. Hollywood beach has a boardwalk and lots of nightlife. So for those near a large body of water, yes. For someone hours away... no.
Fay, we normally buy ready made dumpling skins, about 30 to a package, but they come frozen. If you plan to make dumplings, you must take them out of the freezer a day or two to thaw before use. Although they have sodium benzoate preservative, if you put the unused skins in the refrigerator they will become moldy within a few days.
Shopping at the Asian market on Sunday, we totally forgot to buy skins so my wife rolled them by hand. Did you ever eat at Sweet Tomatoes? They hand cut noodles for the chicken noodle soup. What she made was very similar in texture and flavor.
Thanks Bear and wen... I would expect the funeral to be this week and after a few days my associate would have closed out any business of his daughters and return to Florida.
I've seen on a few sites that it's important in some Asian cultures to give cash at a wedding. Basically, they are using the gift money to pay for the event.
We buy red envelopes for specifically for this. Different sayings on the outside for different occasions. My wife translates for me.
