Portrait or Landscape...

Fay, it depends. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note that shoots wide format. In business I'll take as many as 50 photos a week. Demolition shots that could be either mode.
Last week I went to a park to see some model aircraft and shot a turbo jet in flight using landscape.
I upload the photos to my computer. One monitor is landscape and one portrait.
Samsung has a cradle that connects the phone to a monitor, mouse and keyboard so I can work it like a desktop computer.
Google chrome allows me to view pictures and videos on my TV with chromecast.

When clients are in the showroom I have to use the cellphone to show photos of my completed projects.

RE: Life's Wake Up Calls

My family doctor passed away. I was a patient for more than 20 years.
I said I wouldn't have another doctor older than me!
So far that's been true and I go a few times a year... as mandated by my insurance company. I connected with Blue Cross at a clinic and the service has been great.
19 doctors work out of that facility and if I cannot wait for an appointment with my PCP, any doctor on staff can take me as a walk-in.

Things can sneak up on you even if you are feeling fine.
Be well...

Fay, are you eating whole flaxseed or ground flaxseed?

New Car...

I'm okay as a project manager, salesman or designer. That brings me enough headaches. Adding business owner would mean less sleep than the 6 hours I'm getting now.

BMW the ultimate crashing machine...

z... it was implied. Should I spell it out? Okay.

Although the BMW vehicles are exceptional in safety, precision and performance, I have found many who own them to be first generation money, have aggressive personalities, buy the cars as a status symbol. Miami has lots of wealthy 'players' sports figures who sign multi-million dollar contracts. BMW is typically their first purchase, then Mercedes. When they have money and buy to excess, something exotic as in Lamborghini comes to mind.

The end of another MANGO SEASON...

I was wrong. Mango season isn't over.
Seven more mangoes fell from the tree this week and I can see some green ones still hanging.

Bad relationships? I've had a few... dozen !!

I'll skip a few... We're up to 7th grade and Ruth happened to be the first girl in my class to wear a bra. I was okay with that! She made the first move and gave me a bracelet to go steady. One of my classmates said I 'hard up' to go with her. I wasn't sure what he meant. Apparently, they were neighbors and he didn't have anything good to say about her.
Ruth was like Baskin Robbins ice cream store featuring a different flavor every month!
She moved on to another boy quicker than I could say... is it over?

RE: The Inverse Vampire

I try to stay acclimated for the Heat. It's 94 outside and 74 in the office. Two extremes.

RE: The Inverse Vampire

We get rain every day... the weeds are up to my knees.

Ghosting...

Speaking of ghosting, there was a girl that I was dating that I didn't want to date anymore. She could not accept that. When she called and my mother answered the phone my mother would tell the girl I wasn't home. One day a boy called and my mother transferred the call to me. I picked it up and it was the girl I was trying to avoid!

She had her brother make the call and get on the line when I picked it up.

Ghosting...

My parents had a wall phone near the kitchen & we put a 20 foot extension cord on it so you can sit on the floor and talk. It wasn't until I was in high school that we had a second phone in the house that I used in my bedroom.

Ghosting...

Getting dumped in the old days often happened on the phone.

RE: Girls if a man write this to you what will you do

phjep, if that is your opening line, expect them to ignore and block you.
Clear the air and try something more subtle.

Ghosting...

Say goodbye linda7a I'll be ghosting you later today...

Ghosting...

Talk about ghosting...

I drove 45 miles to meet a woman at Starbucks. We liked each other and I suggested we go to a restaurant for lunch instead of coffee. We stayed there chatting for 2 hours and when we left, she hugged me in the parking saying how happy she was meeting me.

I called a day later to see how she was doing and thank her for the date. Her response was I lived too far and she didn't want to date me.

That was nearly 10 years ago. I noticed she is on the same site and updated her photos last month.

Ghosting...

Naivete, not every meeting went perfect and some were good, very good to a point.
One woman was a realtor in an upscale neighborhood. Our luncheon went well. I asked to walk her to her car and she was driving a Mercedes. I was driving a Toyota. So I didn't pursue it and nothing more happened...

I remember her profile was back online a few months later and some of her photos were professionally shot. I often wonder if their hobby is having casual luncheons at the guy's expense.

'Power dating' can get expensive and soon guy's realized that Starbucks is the place for initial meeting. Hopefully, it goes beyond that.

Ghosting...

A generation ago, I remember agreeing to meet a woman at the food court in a large mall. Her looks were stunning. She explained what she was looking for in a relationship. I asked a few questions and turned away due to a distraction at the table next to us. When I turned back, she had vanished. It was like a scene in a movie. I stood up looking around and she was nowhere to be seen.

Ghosting...

Personally, I agree it's a _________ (insert any cowardly excuse) way of doing things. But I've read that it's happening more and more especially with social media and texting.
