I am going to take it you mean the United States. I checked my Florida voters registration form to make sure I was correct and it shows we do have more than two parties. But I actually do not think it is a problem adding more parties will not solve. It is basically corruption in government. It has been going on forever. Our economy in my opinion has been shaped by big corporate. This is just my opinion not written in stone. I could go into great detail about why I feel this way. But will refrain from boring people to death with my opinions. If you think of a reasonable way to fix this big mess clue the rest of us poor people in on it please.

The title to thread is a question different from the opening post so I will start by answering the title question " Why do we have too many single mothers in usa and canada?" What do you call too many? One, fifty, fifty million? Some are single due to many reasons. It is not always easy being a single mother. Do you think maybe there are just as many single fathers as mothers? Do we have to many single fathers? I read the thread post so far So lets move on to add the other part of the question in here. Can't two couples stay together till death? Who is not understanding whom? What is the problem? Can't we get a solution? People no longer stay in unhealthy relationships. Why would someone want to stay where they are beaten? Where they are not happy? I admit this disposable world we live in is not the ideal world for me. But I am not going to judge others. I don't walk in their shoes. I only can be responsiable for my own behavior in life. It takes two to make a couple. I am not a couple anymore I have been thinking a lot here lately. And I have been thinking about maybe adopting an older child. We have more orphans in my area than homes. I have a home and friends and family. I can afford a child. When I checked on it with the older child in my area they said their health care and schooling would be paid for. They are desperately seeking homes for these children. They run ads on the tele. And their little faces say please give me a chance. I want a home. I am an older person yes. But I am in good health. So if I decide to do that then I will be A SINGLE MOTHER. Please do not judge me because of it. I will just be a single mum trying to do the best for my child.

Ali do you have a harvest festival in your country? That is similar to what thanksgiving day is about. It is a time to celebrate the fruits of our labor with friends and family. Use to in years gone by they celebrated because of a good crop yeild. Not so many farmers now So I celebrate I have been given the life I have.

I have been voting on clearity of the picture, is the person smiling, is it in focus....I see now maybe I am suppose to vote on their looks? Is there a correct way of voting on the pics. I take terriable pics. At least that is what I am telling myself

And does anyone in the world really care what I think about their looks? After all I think my dogs are just the cutest things.

Even if you are in a relationship you might think is secure does not mean it always will be. Life has a way of shaking one awake from time to time so don't no one be thinking a relationship gives you a free pass.

I to know I am working to live. And the sad part is I have done it both ways in my life and I was happier when I lived to work. I have always been able to find work too. So I have never drawn unemployment. And I know that in the end I count on me to pay my bills. I do not want to change the position to where my children are my care givers. But who knows.....one day it might be that way. There is no guarantees in life. At least I have children who would try and take care of me. Some of my friends children....well no need to go there

I think that it will take a long time before it ever reaches to that point. There are to many women and men that feel that they have to live with someone to make their lives complete. I actually think that for some it might not be a bad idea. I have seen it done before. They actually had houses side by side. They were like young lovers last I saw of them. And they were in their eighties. I don't know for myself how I would feel about it. I would have to cross that bridge when I came to it. But I would be open to consider it. But then I am a older woman who was married for a long time and had my family.

P.S. My husband and I never fought we were best friends and I assure you he found me anything but boring. And I loved even the air that he breathed so familiarity was an endearing quality

I don't think we will ever be to the point where we don't want to socialize. There would be that select few maybe but the mass of us will always rather be a couple. I am a loner but I would always have room in my life for the right man. A lot of people that know me do not realize that. Because they look at the outside of the book and do not bother to turn the pages to see.

I have been told I need some of those. But to be honest it just does not seem right to me. I would rather fix it myself or pay someone Does it seem right to you when someone does that? I am curious. If we traded like my skills for yours I would be ok. I can cook and sew. But otherwise it seems like I would be using another humanbeing just because I can bat my eye lashes.

I think it is a good thing men and women are learning to live alone. That way when you do find someone it will be for the right reasons. And not because you feel like you need someone. I could take care of myself just fine when I married my husband. And now since he is gone I still can. I believe need will cause you to lean on a person. And a person can only hold another up forever so long and then they are going to drop you. You become a heavey weight. I needed my husband because I loved him. I did not love him because I needed him. And I am ok with being alone. I am alone not lonely
