Also, Morgan, it depends on where in the world, they are. Some trees may not fare well outside of their native environment, others could fare too well and cause problems.

In addition, the Local Governments have rules that need to be followed.

You really need to check with a licensed Specialist, or Nursery in the area

Yeah, I got the same a few even after a nice reply, telling the gentlemen that I could only offer friendship bc I am in the process of meeting someone I have been corresponding with.

One Guy even wrote " Whose this Guy Stealing you from me

?" , My instinct was like Whoa! and he set off my temper a usually very difficult thing to do.

I guess, most only read what they want to. Or they think if they can push you around, you will give in.

The thing they don't realise is if I were to decide not to continue the relationship, I would not be interested in them BUT in the guy's whom sent me a nice letter back thanking me for my honesty, not wasting their time, congratulating me and wishing me Luck, with a little line saying if things change to give them a thought.

When, I was looking, if I got one of those, not available letters, I also thanked them , congratulated them and wished them well.

So in this light, those are the guys whom would have the next chance.
