Um, no don't think so. I think we get our attitudes from those whom went before us. Besides, do you really think a Neanderthal woman is going to want to stay in athe background, when she sees that her Modern nieces can do things other than stay in the cave? I think she would club any guy who tried it and come out to join US, remember they were more intelligent than we are.

Neanderthal-Man were more intelligent, had larger brains, made tools, played flute, buried thier dead, cared for their injured and sick, used the same plannts for healing, food andburial as Homo sapiens quite possibly intermingled with modern man. Neanderthal-Man is now considered to be completely homo sapiens.

Agreed Gf. I also feel this way. I had my opportunity for an arranged marriage while my mother was alive. I turned it down. I will make my own choices in looking for marriage the way you have worded it.

I grew up in a little section of Ohio, unofficially called Tornado Alley by us natives of the area . . .

We all gnew the signs of an impending tornado, (quiet, still, erie gray-green cast over eveything, heavy metalic taste to the air, etc) from an early age and what to do, in the event of a tornado.

One day, shortly after my father had died, My Mom and other siblings went to the store. The forcast had been calling for a major thunderstorm.

My youngest sister and I had volunteered to stay home and bring all the livestock up from the back 40. Mom said ok but be careful, it looks like tornado weather, if you notice the signs, just leave everything and get in to the Storm Cellar.

We said ok and started herding up all the animals. Got everthing in the barn. I was stalling the last of the horses and cattle. My Sister had grained the sheep, goats, Ponies and was doing the horses while I handled the bulls. Then we both were going to milk the cows and goats.

All of a sudden there was a loud noise, like a freight train and the enire barn wall just disappeared! from the north side of the barn to the south corner! The Whole wall!

The two bulls I had just stalled took down their stall and I could only jump up and grab a rafter, bc when they took down their stall, they crashed right past me and through the Horses stalls and left out of the barn where the wall had been, with all the horses and every thing that had been stalled on the opposite side of the barn the barn.

I was terrified to look over where my sister had been. I thought she had been trampled in the stampede. She was alright and had also jumped up into a grain feeder out of the way.

We were like what just happenned? We looked out the back door of the barn and saw the twister racing to the back 40 we had just come from( South) and all our live stock racing to our neighbors pasture( East).

We had been so engrosed in our work we had missed the sudden erieness, and other signs that we knew to look for.

Our neighbor from the north saw us throught the barn wall and he turned off the road through the pasture and was chewing us out, (we lived in an area where people tried to support others and take up roles that had been lost, ie our Dad's death), b/c we knew better and should have been more alert. He said he should paddle us as he imagined our Dad would have.

Mom had come home right about then and joined Mr. Boles. She asked us what happened we told her we were just working and had missed the signs. She said Jim, at least they are alright, that is what is important. The barn wall can be repaired, the livestock retrieved.

But that b/c our Dad had just died, and we were trying to be responsible she would let it slide b/c we were alright.

She looked at us and said you two have just learned a large lesson. No matter what is on your mind, or how hurt your hearts are hurting you have to pay attention to the things around you, you could have died . . .

Needless to say, we never forgot it either.

The gene for agression would have to be isolated as would the gene for passiveness. Then there would have to be a pre-determined formula for a precise percentage of both traits to balance and cancel too much in either direction.

But really People, that is a whole 'nother bucket of worms I would not like to see opened. How long before we become as: "The Borg, from Star Trek" Seeking out to force others to conform to our Way, Utopia, Etc?

Perhaps though, this kind of reseach could be utilized to Rehabilitate Killers? Then again,it is a fine line to walk.

I think that particular type of horror is one Gene Rodenberry, envisioned when he and others wrote of these stories. Who would the ones be that have that kind of control? The Governments of the world? From what I see NONE of them are ready for that kind of power.

Remember, "With Great Power Comes Great Responsiblity, Like it or not, Want it or not, Ask for it or not."

Far better to teach Live and Let Live. Tolerance.

I will second that OWIE and No good against Said Bears above!!!!

I would want @ least a .50 Cal. or that sawed off shot gun sounds good. . . And TWO of my dogs to tree the Damn Bear!

But prefer NOT to come across any bears @ all. There for no need to have any of that adrenaline rush, or soiled drawers.

Yeah, right!

Me i want some thing quite abit stronger than pepper spray, I don't want to be accompanying meal to that Condiment. I have even seen some guys be resistant to the pepper spray, so much for that, much better to lake the leash of and say get'em girl.

I, also do not see race, only the heart and soul of the person I am seeing. How that person treats me is more important to me I have and am currently dating outside of my race/culture. Years ago, I had a Belgan Shepherd/Doberman/Malamute and Husky Mix, The Adoptive Mom of my 21yo dog that passed in August.

She was growling while I was on the phone to my Mother. I did not realize she was growling. Mom asked me IS Luckie Growling, I looked over and said yeah it looks like it.

She said Why is she growling? I said Well, it probably means George is outside. Mom said George? I said yeah. I 've been kinda seeing Him. He's like Kenny, Mom,(Kenny was my Brother), Long hair and a beard down past his waist too. He even jokes around like Kenny does.

Mom Said your dog does not growl at your brother,[(yeah she did, Mom just did not know), (but yeah she really did not growl That much at Kenny,either)].

She said You know better! Listen to your Dog. Don't Bother to bring George home to meet me, I allready know all I need to know about him from your Dog!

You have Luckie Annah Marie for a reason! I am ashamed of You! Listen to your Dog and she hung up on me. I was dumb founded at my Mom's out burst. Well, George did not last very long I gave him his walking papers pretty quickly after that.

Also, B/c I cannot hear, that is why I tend to have Large Breed Dogs whose ancestors were created for large predator hunting. My one is a Leopard Cur/English Labrador Retriever Mix 2 yrs old 70#. the Leopard Curs were created for it all: wild boar, Panther, Wolf, Bear, you name it. Some can even climb trees decently.

BTW A Guy does not pass the dog test, he never sees me again.

It also does not take up much hard drive space and is fairly straight forward. So you can use it fine on older computers.

Scorpio definitely has something to do with it. My Puppy just turned two Nov 17th. But so does breed. She is 1/2 Leopard Cur/ English Laborador Retriever. She is a Hardhead and 70#. She know just how to drive me nuts. She is the toughest training job I ever had on a dog. All my past dogs were Joy's to to train! but I have my work cut out with Zoriah.

I am glad the surgery went well. Leave the eypatch alone it is there to protectt he ey from doing any work for a while, it needs to rest and if you don't wear it, the eye will instinctively attempt to work putting strain on it. Love you Very much Jenny. I am in a few binds so am not here often for abit.

Ok,I guess it is up to me to burst your bubble. I have met some one very special. He came along when I was not really interested in looking. We did met here on CS. He is a bit younger than I and he oringinally from India. We have been communication for ~ 5 months and are soon to meet and decide where to go from there.

I think, your chip on your shoulder is what is preventing you from meeting the right girl. I can feel it from here, so if I can feel it, what do you think the girls in front of you feel, hmmmm??

Come on you meet a white girl the same as any other girl. Without the attitude. You start with a smile. A nice compliment- NOTE a commpliment not a comment about their anatomy or any predjudice, those two will kill any chance you have instantly, in most cases.

As for the ones whom married, they met here on CS and are only here for the forums and to give all of us still searching advice. I for one am grateful and hope they never leave. I learn much from them.
