I could not have said it better. You are very right.
Radio, I hope you take the advice of many here. Jealousy will not only poison you but blind you to that wonderful some one. I could also scare her off.
Well, Her Majesty, is probably better than whom, we have to choose from for our leaders. . . Just tell her, some have told me over the years that the next time the Japanese want Hawaii, they will purchase the state, She might get a good deal.
Also, does her decree, revoke the purchase agreements of all our Foreign Owned , Landmarks, and various Monuments?
Cool, now you are gonna have to have to tell him to come up with a few more groomsmen to pair with the rest of us!!! and the $$$$ to buy all the wedding party gifts, and, ......And to INFINITY!!!!
It was a busy Morning, ~8:30 am, when, an elderly Gentleman in his 80's, arrived to have stitches removed from his thumb.
He said he was in a hurry, as he had an appointment @ 9:00 am. I took his vital signs and had him take a seat, knowing it would be over an hour before someone would be able to see him.
I saw him looking at his watch and decided, since I was not busy with another patient, I would evaluate his wound. On exam, it was well healed, so I talked to one of the Doctors, got the needed supplies to remove his sutures and redress his wound.
While taking care of his wound, I asked him if he had another doctor's appointment this morning, as he was in such a hurry.
The Gentleman told me no, that he needed to go to the nursing home to eat breakfast with his wife.
I inquired as to her health. He told me that she had been there for awhile and that she was a victim of Alzheimer's Disease.
As we talked, I asked him if she would be upset if he was a bit late. He replied that she no longer knew who he was, that she had not recognized him in five years, now.
I was surprised, and asked him, "And you still go every morning, even though she doesn't know who you are?"
He smiled as he patted my hand and said,
"She doesn't know me, but I still know who she is".
I had to hold back my tears as he left, I had goose bumps on my arms, and thought,
"That is the kind of Love I want in my life."
True Love is neither physical, nor romantic.
True Love is an acceptance of all that is, has been, will be, and will not be.
The happiest people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the best of everything they have.
"Life isn't about how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain".
I cannot credit this. The Credit was not posted. This is on the wall in the gym I belong to outside the Changing rooms.
This IS the kind of Love I also want. How about the rest of you?
NO APOLOGIES needed! That is why we are all here. We have all been there at some time in our lives. I feel for you. You have my friendship and Support, You are a very fine Man RW. There is some very lucky girl looking for you and she will be quite Blessed when she finds you as will you Be.
This is what I said the last time this subject came up. INFACT, if I recall correctly, it was pretty close to being my initiation to the foums. I too, will NOT EVER AGAIN get into a relationship where I am punched through a wall, belittled, ordered about and cheated on because I DESERVE better than that.
RE: jealous?
