Indeed, it is. My Father was part German. Technolologically and IQwise, I take after my Father. I am starting to notice that in peace maker tendencies I take after my Mother.
Iam one of the lucky ones, I was blessed with my Mother-in-law. The first time he asked me to go to a family function with him turned out to be his Parents 25th Annaversary. That was our 2nd date. His Parents were shocke when they came to the church thinking something was wrong and found their kids had staged the whole thing.
Then John, brought me up and said this is my GF. (talk about tact and timing, I was so embarrassed this was their day!).They promptly told us to report to their house the next night for dinner.
(Date three). We came in and his Mother took one look at me, then she said, John have you introduced her to Gramma,(his Father's Mom), yet? He said no. She said don't you think you should? I'm standing there and my mind is going, Gramma?
We were still in the process of taking off our winter coats. She said go now. So we put our coats back on and went out. Drove over to his Gramma's Farm, withJohn telling me that had never happened before. That his parents had never told him to introduce any of his gf to his Grand mother before.
Gramma talked to me for less than 5 minutes, while we were taking off our winter coats and turned to John and saif If you are smart, John, you will snap this girl up and never let her go and sent us back to his parent's house for dinner, again, before we had totally gotten out of our coats.
Again, on the way back John was saying no one had eversaid that about any of his gf before. I was dazed, trying to figgure out what had just happened.
We were also very close. The only time I had a problem was when my Husband told her something I thought should have been between us. Then I was on his case. LOL, it was the same for me, Mom and I were so close that there were a few times he was on my case saying How could you tell my Mom that?
I like Unusual, or Rare Stones, (like Emeralds or Saphires with a contaminant flaw from being formed, that changes the colour) and Zirconia diamonds, Lab grown, of course. Then again, I am a nerdy, geek, an oddball among my fellow human sisters.
LOL, You are right. I KNOW things up there are astronomical. I dread finding out how much things are going to cost when I transfer to RIT next year, and that is in Rochester, NY.
~ 1984, my late Brother-In-Law, attended his firs Residency up there.. Mom and Dad-in-Law went up to see him.
Bobby was spending $1500.00/Mo for an efficiency the size of a large walkin closet. His bed folded up into the wall, he had a small frige, mini stove a sink you could barely put a glass under the faucet and a desk/chair all small. He had to share a bathroom with three other guys down the hall. Mom said when the bed was down there was no room too move in room. I don't know where he kept his clothes.
Sweet, you and your cat are in my prayers, my cats over the years have also gotten out and I know what you are feeling, fortunately for me, MOST all of them hsve returned home.
For Mylifewithu: Um, with respect, everything I know from growing up on a farm and from my vets, cats DO have to be in heat to get pregnant.
The feline species, has some,um, different characteristics, that make it imperative for a female cat to be in full heat before she accepts a Tom. The Tom, you see, has a circle of barbs around and at the base of his P****. These barbs are in much the same shape as the barbs on farm, barbwire fence.
This serves too puropses: One it keeps him from being knocked off by another Tom when he is otherwise occupied. Two, when he is done, the barbs rake the inside of a female feline causing ovulation. The female is in pain when this happens, that is why females, for the majority of females will never accept a tom w/o being in full heat.
I have also read and been told, that it takes on an average of 13 times to get one kitten. All feline females have my respect. I would never have more than one litter if I were one, quite possibly never have more than one Kitten if I were them, owie!!!!
RE: If you could change the CS Name of the person above, what would it be?
