We do the pancakes thing....it's more traditional cos children's father is American.

....but nothing like the English continental...eggs, bacon....toast & marmalade, freshly squeezed orange juice and a good brew of coffee

It depends on his level of maturity not chronological age.

I, personally have never dated anyone younger than myself, but that's not to say I haven't fantasised of being with a younger man.

I had to cool off a friendship with a woman, because her son had a crush on me. At first, I thought I was just imagining it and ignored it....but it was the way he used to look at me...it made me blush and kinda uncomfortable. The day I started fantasising about being with him, was the day I backed away.

He was barely out of high school...

I try not to take the site too seriously Alex.

I, personally, am here for the banter of the forums. Some topics interest me, others don't.

I am here to mix, albeit in cyberspace, with people offering different perspectives of the world which make me think.

Realistically, due to the distance, a relationship with someone from here would be a long shot for me.....a liason(one night of passion) just a dream.

I think if you are seriously considering meeting someone on here, then it's a little bit of luck with making the connection initially and then a little bit of spade work(effort) is required....and a little bit of romance. There doesn't seem to be a magic formula. It either works or it doesn't.

Thirty/forty years ago gender roles were entrenched. He had his role as hunter/gatherer. Her role was as child bearer/nurturer. Things were simplified.

In recent times, due to financial stresses, women have been forced to bring in money too. and so the partnership duties have become more complex.

If anything, I sympathise with them(the men).

They just don't seem to get it.
