We are no longer allowed to discipline children in our homes or schools, this has allowed a generation who have no respect for authority and will, IMO, lead to anarchy, what possible good can come from saying we cannot smack an unruly child because it gives the child the idea violence is good, but its fine to kill someone who may have committed a crime. And as for banning people not guns, well I think the past few days in America has shown that no one is responsible enough to own a gun, so okay lets keep guns but ban all ammunition other than blanks.

If the Arab world looked after their own then the problems in Palestine would disappear,But even the Arabs surrounding Palestine have no time for that country and it's violent leaders. Time after time the Israeli's have offered to retreat to the original borders as set up by treaties, even at one point offering money and support to help rebuild, but every time the hamas have launched attacks at Israel. I have been reading about the dying Bees, seems fairly certain now that a specific crop spray has caused bees to loose their ability to shrug off a parasite, this parasite is present in all hives but usually causes no problems, now however it is killing the bees, unless we stop this parasite, the population of bees will die throughout the western world, europe and North/South America are infected. The death of bees will have untold damage on human food sources as bees pollinate more crops/fruit etc than any other insect.

The credit crunch was caused by governments releasing the controls and regulations back to the banks, who then lent money to those who could never repay it. As for your historic facts being off, well history proves that whichever way you see the land of Israel, it was agreed by a treaty signed by all concerned that the country should exist. If some felt hard done by because Israel now produces food etc and theirs does not, maybe those complaints should be directed to their own leaders for not working the land in the same way as the Israelis rather than throw stones into their neighboughs garden!
You are of course free to your opinions, but, you should try to base those opinions on historic facts rather than hearsay, I don't condone the action being taken by Israel against Palestine, however, I can understand why they take this action, it's 6 of one and half a dozen of the other and in my opinion only frank and honest dialogue will end this troubled region. Are you suggesting that it is Jews who have created the credit crunch in the UK? Brown is not a Jew yet he agreed to pumping millions into the banks, yet failed to support our manufacturing base, this was done because Brown is a total dickhead when it come to economics, not because he likes Jews.
Okay, I sort of understand where you're coming from, so my response is, read a few books on social etiquette, to ask a woman, who you have known only a short time, about her living arrangements, would come across as intrusive, I find that normally this information usually comes out in the course of a normal conversation.
