I do know that as I have got older and having gone through three breakups that I have become far more fickle and specific regarding my choice of partner, which in turn is making it far harder to find that special person.
I have learnt from past relationships and while I am not exactly afraid of being hurt again, I do want to try my very best to ensure the next one is going to last eternity. Maybe I'm becoming an idealist
The USA is, by and large, very forgiving towards immigrants, whereas somewhere like Turkey, or China have very ridged rules and can be very intolerant, in my, albeit limited experience, English speaking countries are probably easy to acclimatise to.
So whats the problem, he is hardly the first politician to have an affair and certainly won't be the last, no different in any other country really, other than Italy, where the Prime minister actually boasts about his female conquests and how much they cost him
But that is YOUR morality in judgment of a country which has a vastly diverse and different culture to yours, who is to say that their version of what is morally correct is right or wrong?
China is pretty much the last major country to have been touched by western standards, and very reluctantly from what I have read, that they wish to remain culturally and morally different to the west is their right, however, while the rest of the world fights their insane wars with each other, China slowly plods along, giving employment to it's workers, sound education and medical advances that could be envied throughout the world. We on the outside find much very wrong with China, but that is seeing it though our concept of what is right and wrong, sure there is a huge amount wrong to China, the death and killing is wrong which ever culture you are from for example, but, there is a future there that may become the most dominant in the world.
I hope to be working there soon and will tell you if my opinion changes
I am sure you're not, but as you also live in the UK you must be well aware of how many from certain Eastern countries (Not Yours) really take advantage of the UK welfare system, Also and this is the sad mentality of the greater population, very few indigenous Brits can or want to differentiate between these countries, the Polish who worked with me were always being told they were lazy Albanians for example, in my experience the Polish and indeed the few Bulgarians that I have worked with have shown to be far better and harder works than their British colleagues.
I try to budget as best I can here as food is really expensive,I buy veg from the market or street venders and meat from the men in pubs no questions Seems okay to me and allows me to then have a couple of drinks/coffee/ice cream in the evenings, simple life but very healthy
Yes as it happens I have been to Bulgaria, and I am talking from my experience.
Where does it say in my post that I think Bulgaria is second class? please, re-read my post I specifically said "SOME may think that". My view on that position is not in question, I am replying to the question posed by the OP as to why some class his/your country as second best. That you have fine Hospitals and institutions is not in question, many Europeans travel to Bulgaria for medical treatment.
My point, is that many Eastern European citizens, including those from Bulgaria have a bad name in western Europe for taking financial aid from their new host country rather than giving.
How dare you denigrate and belittle the deaths of troops fighting the Taliban, 6 Italian SAS solders were buried here on Saturday.
You are a pitiable resemblance of a human who deserves to be forced to go to Afghanistan and tell those troops face to face they are fighting a fake war, words cannot describe my utter disbelief in your inflated ego and propaganda crap.
In response to rays diatribe, there is a great line in the NEW YORK POST
"It’s like a a lawyer who is defending a client accused of threatening to kill someone saying: “Well, Your Honour, my client did say he intended to murder the victim. But since then he’s moderated his intentions considerably, demonstrated by the fact that on at least one occasion he’s said merely that the victim will die"
Oh lighten up He is a perfectly harmless guy, if you don't like his threads don't read them, just because his English is not quite as good as yours does not make him a lesser person
Right or wrong never enters power struggles, it is all about who can gain the control, whether China wants that power is unanswerable by me, but there is no doubt in my mind that the future financial power bed will be China.
