I find that statement one of the saddest I have read on CS, to me it shows a coldness to others, I remember all of my ex's be they a single date or a long term relationship and treasure the times we shared.
To become a lover surely we have to have a total emotional as well as physical connection and that in its very existence should stay as a part of our memories.

Okay, this is why we try to teach our young to be open minded and to always try new things, example my son at 14 decides he only wants to play football as he is not bad at it, he refused to even try any other sports until a wonderful teacher persuaded him to try canoeing, One year later and he is now trying to gain a position in the UK Canoe team with a target to be in the 2012 games. He has found a sport that he excels at, not just good but has a real talent.
All down to a teacher who knew my son was crap at football

He won't be hurt if you tell him, and given time you will find that as you relax with him and he gives the odd kiss, so you will respond more happily.
If you just brush him off however, then yes he will be hurt and will come to think that you are embarrassed to be seen in public with him. I speak from Experience Morgan having dated someone who thought very similar to you.

My parents were tactile so O grew up with that example, I have always been tactile, touchy feely and never really give a thought to when and where, I do know when to stop thoughlaugh

But when with friends at say a barby my partner would sit on my lap and we would kiss, never really gave that a second thought.

I miss those lazy Sunday mornings curled up together half asleep, but awake enough to feel the warmth of her lying next to me, skin against skin, her smell on my pillow, I miss the walks in the rain by the river not caring how wet we became just to experience the closeness we had, I miss the look in her eyes when she greeted me when I came home from work and the kiss I would receive when we hugged.

My honest opinion?, I think that had the US not have retaliated they way they did and for the reasons they did, then yes the UK and the rest of Europe would have dealt with the terrorists on our own terms without creating the mayhem that has turned honest everyday people into Muslim haters.
I have no problem with America looking after its own, but I draw the line at it deciding to attack other countries and drawing Nato into wars that are unwinnable and not succeeding.
Maybe if all that money wasted on killing so many had been used to research renewable energy, the compelling need for America to gain control of the worlds oil would not be so important. Lets be honest here, oil and other natural resources are the primary reason the USA is involved with wars, the death and destruction of BIN L et al is really of a secondary importance. IMO.

This is such a hard question to give a truly honest answer to, I have to say that personally I hope that I would have the love and capability to stay and look after my partner, but, until I am in that position I honestly don't know if I could cope.

Again without actually being there I don't know, but I think that it that circumstance, your own needs would become more important, to stay just because they are disabled would I think place intolerable strains on an already broken relationship and just create total misery for both parties.

I don't think I have ever had sea trout like that but my fav of all fish is sea bass when cooked as you described but over a barbecue wrapped in tin foil to keep the juices, wow mouth watering at the thought.

Bits and bytes lol, well there are 8 bits to a byte, 1 byte is in essence a computer word, it is made up of 1s and 0s, using the notary of base 8 as opposed to base 10 which is what we as humans tend to use, ie we count 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 then 1 2 3 etc etc, base 8 is 1 2 4 8 16 32 64 128 256

The majority of programs run in Vista fine, just a few have "Lookup" problems where they look for items within XP that are missing from Vista, in every program there is a menu within their “properties” that enables you to run the prog as “XP compatible” which in 90% of the time sorts it out.

Programs such as Norton however, create secret files within the registry which can cause major problems; few in the trade like or use Norton. If you need to remove Norton from the registry use search in REGEDIT and remove from the registry every entry for NORTON and SYMANTEC

I would agree, I am a computer engineer and understand these operating systems, but even I (Sorry not meant to sound big headed) have had probs with Linux, it is fine with most peripheral devices but now and again it throws a wobbly, Vista is OK, not my fav but if it works hey leave it alonelaugh

Google are to release a new operating system soon to compete with both Linux and MS, but it is totally designed for internet access and speed with on board progs such as office taking second place to there internet browser.

No, Defragging can't hurt the drive just takes a long time to complete. The bigger the drive and more stored on it the longer it takes, all defrag does is to make sure that programs are laid down on the drive in a specific order and in one section if you like,so if you use Internet Explorer for example that will be placed on the hard drive near the front so it can be accessed quickly, and the painting prog you used in 1997 will be stored last as you rarely use it, also all the data(Like word docs etc) will be saved in order rather than broken up and saved in any old space which then takes time to reassemble when you want to read it.

Okay, just seen this post, if you want Linux it may be best to only install if you have someone local who also knows it as some addons can be a pain to install such as scanners or some printers. go to any OPEN SOURCE website and take a look.

Okay the easiest way is to open "computer" so you can see your hard drive, right click on the drive Icon and go to "Preferences" in the new window that appears is "TOOLS" in there is defrag.

But can I ask, why are you defragging a new drive? This is only really needed after a number of programs have been installed and then deleted.

Also, if you really can't handle Vista, install Linux, that way you will have a more stable platform and less risk from virus etc. Oh and it's free just buy anh PC mag with a free DVD and there will be a copy on it somewhere.
