I am here mainly for the forum, although I am communication with some who don't post, Not looking for a serious relationship as my life is somewhat chaotic at this moment.
I enjoy the banter, and reading threads, even if I'm not posting, Like someone said it is better than watching TV, especially Italian TV, tend to come online between lessons or when at the bars laugh one here has wifi and so best of all world drinking, typing, reading and watching the scantily dress babes as they pass on down to the beachcool

RE: mature women

Hay at 50 it works for megrin wink

RE: If you create a thread, should you not be able to lock them?

I think the opportunity to edit a post would be far more beneficial, not in agreement with locking a whole thread, there are some here who would lock every time someone disagrees with their OP

RE: If you create a thread, should you not be able to lock them?

I can't get Pepsi here, only Cokemoping

RE: mature women

Of course you could look at it from a different perspective, when your 70 and he is just 60, you will still get loads of bedroom fun !!

RE: mature women

::Raised eyebrow emotion::

RE: i might not be on this site much longer

Hiya Ginger, I tried to message you but you have blocked Italycrying Just wanted to say I like your posts, you seem to always give such sound common sense.

RE: i might not be on this site much longer

Just as a matter of interest, how long have you been on CS?

RE: avecaim: wasn'it a SHE till some days ago????

Exactly, I have just re-read this thread, some great advice and some who are just showing they have no compassion, I enjoyed Ave's posts, I don't care what gender she/he is, the point is that the input given was always fair and balanced.

I wish her great success for whichever path she may choose

RE: Non-Believers...Why are you Here?????

Nothing to get over, I am not the one bragging, my attitude is not in question, I can and will post what I think. You patronised me so only fair I return the compliment.

RE: Is it because i am a single parent.......

Maybe it is because you only want a Greek guy who like Tats and who knows where Fife is.

Perhaps you could broaden your choices and so more would be interested, just a thought

RE: Non-Believers...Why are you Here?????

Taking your view entirely from posts is all well and good, but this is a dating site first and foremost, the forum is just a addition, to take those negative posts as a norm is just distorting the whole ethos of CS, I repeat, I have seen very few negative posts other than some very new to the forum who post that they have given up because of lack of contacts.

Maybe you have had some negative feedback regarding your own new relationship, which has prompted this outburst, if you have then I am sorry, there are some for whom jealousy is a bitter trait, but I never the less feel that most here on the forum have a very positive attitude.

Maybe it is down to how we each perceive and interpret a post

RE: Non-Believers...Why are you Here?????

I am puzzled, where is this general scepticism? see some of each gender making comments about each other in a joking fashion, but very few who actually put forward a negative attitude other than a very small minority who think they will "score" within days of joining, there are some fair few thousand members on CS a fraction post on the forum and a fraction of those may be negative. Hardly a "General scepticism" more just a somewhat blinked view of how this dating site works IMO.
I for example don’t look towards the forum for finding a future partner; I do however write and chat behind the scenes to many members, most who never even read the forum let alone post. So maybe you need to review your initial post and look at the broader picture of this dating site.

RE: The Frog and the Prince..What is a Frog to you and what is a Prince?

I once had a frog in a Paris restaurant, bit like chicken breast, Last night I went to an Italian snail saga (Feast), have to say the frog was a lot betterlaugh

RE: DO U THINK IT IS POSSIBLE TO MARRY A MUSLIM MAN ?

My point is that it is all very well saying that women benefit by marrying a Muslim, but where is your proof?
What benefits would a woman get marrying a Muslim over marrying say a Jew or Hindu?

RE: At last! A Harry Potter thread!

It may well be so for you and your close friends, but with a population of less than 40 million, Eleven million books have been sold in Canada. That’s more than a quarter of your countries entire population. The Harry Potter series has sold over 400 million copies worldwide in 64 languages.
Fair to say that the books are pretty popular I would say grin

RE: meeting him tomorro

Be honest, the longer you leave it the harder it will become and the worse for him.

RE: If folks from the US speak english...why don't they understand what we are saying??

Only to you laugh grin

RE: Points of view on politics systems

Communes work, but only when the numbers do not exceed about 15-20, the ones I know of tend to work on a democratic basis, with all parties making important decisions, but, again it only really works if everyone is willing to be flexible and willing to compromise for the good of the community.

I forget who said this but “ If you put 100 people on an island and gave each one 10 pounds, within 6 months 1 person would have 1000 pounds” Greed is human nature sadly.

RE: If folks from the US speak english...why don't they understand what we are saying??

The one that gets me is the phrase "Ticked off" in the US I believe it means angry, whereas in original English it means to be told off by someone, such as, a teacher ticking off a student for talking outloud, two totally different means depending on which side of the pond you're onlaugh

RE: Do you eat organic foods?

They do an excellent Pizza here, tomatoes, fungus and olives, Hmm delicious
