To think we on earth are the sole life form in the universe is total arrogance. However, we can only imagine what lies beyond our planet in human terms, alien life may occur in forms we just cannot conceive or comprehend.
Therefore it is best to have an open mind, so until someone proves with real facts that aliens have never visited earth I will continue to believe that they could have or will do so in the future.

The whole mess is due to an inept PM who is frightened that if cannabis is less harmful than tobacco, that means he would have to ban sales on Cigarettes and lose the tax income of about 4 pounds per pack.
He needs this tax to finance wars
Just think how much better the world would be if we all smoked reefers and stopped all the fighting

Yep I saw the same when in Crimea, yet the indigenous people are so wonderful and not materialistic like those in the west.
The OP is correct in my opinion, the US tend to think money rules, sadly this is now occurring in western European countries.

I agree with giving unconditional love to one's children, but not to a partner, there will always be some conditions, even if it's just personal hygiene, or the way they interact with you etc, There will always be a condition that they and I remain faithful.

The Uncommon Reader is a comedy book, using real people in a fictitious story, it's funny because the central Character "The Queen" is portrayed as someone who only finds out the joy of reading late in life, becoming totally embroiled in romance novels.
The title plays on the fact that in England a "Commoner" is not a royal person

Thanks for all the comments, I agree with the majority, Cannabis should not be classed as worse than tobacco or alcohol. In my view it is no worse than asprin.

Your ex employee did exactly what was requested, he used the free phone to try and get work, without the phone he most probably would not have called you or any other prospective employer.
Just be thankful you don't have a dickhead like Gordon Brown as your leader, a man who thinks it's fine to borrow money to pay the interest on borrowed money!!

Why not give the man a chance, he has not been in power for 12 months, he appears, from what I have seen and read, to at least be trying to help YOUR country get back on it's feet.

How about the alien sightings reported in England, Germany, Africa etc etc

America is a fairly large (Russia is bigger but without the media coverage) country so therefore it would statistically have more such events than say Luxembourg.

Hi Morgan I also find it strange that so many judge Cs without looking at the greater picture plus only after a few weeks, making friends takes time in real life so the same must be true online, I don't judge CS on how many meetings I can arrange but on how many people I contact and who write back, so far I have no complaints, I write to many people some are just acquaintances some are closer, some I hope I have helped, some have helped me, CS is really very similar to a commune, and either you enjoy that environment or you don’t.
I don’t need to wish you good luck with your meeting Trish and Summer, I know it will be a great time for you all, just wish I had the time to join you as well !!!

You are missing the point, there are two very distinct parts to CS, one is the Forum/blogs which is used by a small fraction of the members, the other is that you have the opportunity to search for and contact women members across the whole world.
Many many members read the forums but never post, they find it gives them a idea about those who do post, so if you post arrogant, pompous, aggressive and/or belittling posts, then that is how some may decide you are in real life.If you post humorous, intelligent,thoughtful and respectful posts then you may be seen in a completely different light, after a few months you will find most will have sussed out a fair true image of your personality.

I have been back a few times, but not in the last 15 years, as I was upset the last visit by the decay and poverty, I prefer to remember my happy childhood there, it was and is a most beautiful country, but the unemployment and health problems have all but destroyed the country, what a shame there is no oil, then the US would have invested

I am East African by birth and very proud of that, but from British parents and spent my education in the UK, so you could say I have split loyalties, I support Kenya in all sporting activities and the UK when Kenya is not in the same competition.
I also do not understand why some members seem to hide their true origins.
