I'm getting a little worried about you, no really I am, try a large mug of hot chocolate with mini marshmellows and a Scottish short crust biscuit, works wonders to calm the mind.
I think its part of the original poster's responsibility to make sure that they reply to posts made by the less frequent poster, to include them into the conversation, it will encourage more posts and help to make the poster feel more included in the thread.
Even though my periscope is stuck in a vertical position and causing horrendous wind drag, I can still slip into the lead, pushing hard to increase anticipation of that ultimate climax.
I see where your coming from Trish, and agree, it's not the remembrance service at fault, its the hypocrisy that attaches itself to such, like the fact the Government has taken 50+ years to recognise the bravery of the Gurkha's and actually allow them to live here in peace.
