I agree as well. Regardless what some people think, I feel that wearing a mask is a part of containing the virus. Some say that moisture particles can still escape, yeah that's true but not at the same rate and velocity as someone unmasked. If everyone was wearing a mask, the rate of moisture particles would be reduced dramatically. Nothing will stop it unless it's a medical grade filter and I'll leave those to the medical people who need them. Wear a mask, wash your hands........ Simple enough instructions.

A swat on the bum will never hurt a child. It teaches that some actions have negative reactions. I don't recommend using a belt or anything of that nature but I, personally, don't think that "timeouts" are always the way to go. To each their own, I guess.
In a coronavirus life, many companies will soon take the approach that they will not employ someone without the vaccine. Damn human rights, this is human life. I'll be one of the first in the line-ups, waiting for the shot. I don't want to die from Corona nor pass it to someone else .......
My parents raised us to know that there wasn't any gender specific chore to do. My brothers washed dishes just the same as my sister and I. We, in turn, helped pack away wood when we had a wood furnace and 20 cord of wood was delivered. Myself, I have 2 daughters and 1 son. They are treated the same. No one gets away with something that the other 2 got punished for (my girls say my son is spoiled because he's the baby). Sometimes it's all due to perception and not necessarily a double standard.
I have the utmost respect for anyone who can research and find alternate means to allievate pain. It's good on you that you did. My beef is with people telling others to stop taking their meds based on ignorance. To quit meds cold turkey causes withdrawal just the same as if it were heroin they used. You suffer all the sickness plus you have the added bonus of a mental health issue running amok and not being addressed. Big Pharma giving perks to doctors for prescribing meds isn't something new. I think it should be illegal for a doctor to accept anything from a drug rep by way of gifts, perks, etc. but that's just me. When a person's mental health is being jeopardized, no drug should be reconsidered except by the care of a physician. How do I know? I've been stable now for 25 years and before that I knew exactly what it was like to contemplate suicide.
If you aren't a doctor and you don't know why people take certain medications, you should refrain from advising people to stay away from medications that are obviously working for them or they wouldn't be still taking them. Walk a mile in the shoes of someone who needs medication in order to lead a productive, healthy life and then see if you would ask them to reconsider. Jeez......
