Thanks Karl, I wasn't sure if our television stations had proper footage of my almost wedding. I'm still waiting on the mushroom people of Nova Scotia to rescue me...... I think the New Brunswickers are scooping them all up, thinking that they're magic......
Joni Mitchell is Joni Mitchell. I don't understand, though, how "singers" like Neil Young or Bob Dylan ever made it in music as vocalists. Sweet Lord, it's painful to listen to.
It has always been stated, up front, that the vaccine would not eradicate the virus. I'm betting that some of the people who died would be very happy to have taken the vaccine and only gotten a milder case of covid-19. My daughter received a chicken pox vaccine to help cut down on a childhood illness. She ended up with chicken pox not once, but twice and the second time was worse than the first. Vaccines will not work the same for different people. It has been stated in Canada that even with the vaccine, we can expect to continue wearing masks, keep social distancing for the next year or two. Small price to pay for health and safety. Maybe if there's another pandemic (experts are saying this is only the first and may be the mildest), our conspiracy theorists will buckle down and observe the safety protocols instead of leading demonstrations against something they don't understand.
General Charming, I do believe that a poor, poor Amish woman is calling your name. Nothing fake there...... really hairy pits, legs and va-jay-jay. Long hair, long skirts/dresses, sans makeup, polish and jewelry (except for the wedding ring of course). I know no woman deserves it but she may be the only woman desperate enough for you.
My Honey, if I'm going through the trouble to beautify my nails you better believe that they're gonna be bright and flashy. Some don't like polish, some don't like glitz - I love them all..... except for pink.
Whatever this year brings, it can't be worse than the year coming to an endd. You get what you give .......treat people miserably, you'll be miserable. You don't always have to be right. A smile can be seen through your eyes if it's genuine and goes a much longer way than a frown. People will always remember how you made them feel. Treat others the way you want others to treat you.
Although difficult at times, I try to make this the game plan for everyday living. Sometimes I succeed, sometimes I fail but I never fail to try.

If we, as humans, stay clear of hunting animals and stick solely to vegetarianism or veganism there will be two problems as I see it. A) Fertile growing grounds will be quickly used and wars will start over that. Every nation will claim rights to lands whether through borders or squatters rights. What happens when drought makes growing difficult? We've seen pics of international aid being dropped in countries where war and the environment have made providing for the people an impossibility. If the world were suddenly all vegans, where does the extra rations come from?? B) With the lack of an animal cull, populations will become overpopulated. There will be no "supply and demand" in the herd sizes. Some species will become extinct (not from mans involvement) because of over population of hunters and a dwindling number of prey (man's lack of involvement will mean the numbers aren't being seen). Over population of animals will also mean the food supply for the herbivores will be decimated due to numbers and more land being taken by humans for growing crops. The animals will then have no choice but to raid these growing fields in order to survive. The farmers will then either introduce more hunters or shoot off the pests.
Inthewoods and Butin, you guys make me want to cry. If I could, I'd bring you both home with me. No one deserves to be alone at Christmas or at any other time.
If you don't want to financially support immigrants, put them to work. Don't make things harder for them to validate their education and knowledge. If someone can prove by way of testing, that their education is as good or better than what is considered the norm, let them earn. Example: doctors. How many will go without care because they may have to see a foreign dr?
