Living too much in the past or future is dangers as it takes away joy of present time. We don't need pictures to remind us of our past memories, we all have it stored in our sole brain memories and occasionally uninvited they come and go, maybe to remind us to treasure what ever we have now or to make a peace with what's gone.
The way I see Santa Clause is a simbol of giving unconditional love ...specially to the poor, unknown - nameless, less fortunate, it's a simbol of a family togethernes or family we find in friends, kind gesture we express in any way possible as thoughtful reminder of people who touch our life when we touch with kindness someone elses life. Santa Clause is in each of us who show care for another and I think such spirit only dies if a person stopped believing in good in the world.
The same thing crossed my mind (what Molly said !) but that's not a general rule, it really depends from who is coming from as some people like you just want to make a genuine point.
I know what you mean and I wouldn't call such type of fun 'mind games' - if it's playful, entertaining and without any intention to hurt. There's another word for it ...
Yes and no. Some phyloshoper (maybe Plato) who know much then most ordinary people,he said 'I know that I do not know nothing.' Life is very dynamic, nothing is static so each of us discovering our unknown potentials, learning true life challenges and discovers new self true process...
We should pay ISIS warriors a nice holiday - out of tax payers money,to make an excellent example how westerners are a good hearted humanitarians that loves all who terrorise them.
Some times you purposely make bad comments on other people thread to test if you can drag down someone to your level !?Why and what's the purpose of doing it? Possible boredroom.
