You are supposed to take 2 every 4 hrs.... but because it's you, there is a note that says...... 3 every 2 hrs because of his excessive denials of needing mental health.
Place patient in padded room with straight jacket... and to stop him from screaming take out the duct tape for his mouth.... this usually shuts him up, because the duct tape causes painful mustache removal.
Uhhh my father actually thought he would get tickets to the Glenn Miller ORCHESTRA tribute concert........ him having a seniors moment is one thing.......
Ok I forgot.... men have those moments all their life..... and Brew, just this once, we will allow you to have another blank male moment.
His style is too old and ummm boring for my tastes. Ana 1 ana 2 ana ... always wondered how painful it was to play an accordian... that might explain the expression on Brew's face....
Me myself and I, wine, hmmm chicken (can be done with beef), with yellow, red peppers, spices, tomatoes... etc, cooked in the slow cooker.... and or my 2 fav types of salad....
I always think of how clean a person is.and if they wash there hands after....you know what I mean
If possible, avoid having them there, and if worst comes to worse... don't touch the food they brought. (food allergies serve me well in these situations)
When we do the family get togethers, we rent the Irish hall. One aunt alone has 13 grandchildren and the other has 14.... not including all the spouses, and who brings a date, and what friends come with their children. It's quite the gathering.
JMO, some friends have just said lets do a pot luck at my house, or they arrange between themselves where it will take place. It depends on the group.
Family reunions with my former in-laws.... they made a decision to have one once a year, and decided amongst themselves who would have it one year and then the other's said what year they would host it.
So... the first re union hosted was at my home, the day after the big tornadoes hit Edmonton. Lots of fun with a new baby, 2 other small children, and trying to find out if your family in Edmonton survived and were alright. It's also lots of fun when you try to understand their language. 2 of them brought their own bottles of booze, but for some odd reason they were too busy to bring stuff for the pot luck.
Potlucks....we do them at work.... and for big family get togethers. Everyone brings something they cooked/baked or the buns and salads and deserts.
It's lots of fun, and you get to taste things you might not have tried before. It can be very interesting when you have different cultures bringing in their own ethnic dishes.
I love the pot luck suppers because they are not fussy, are casual and the person hosting the get together, is not stuck with all the preparation and costs. It's expensive to put on a supper for a few people and supply booze etc.
The group can relax and enjoy each other's company, and the host is not stuck cooking the whole time. (JMO)
