I talk to myself all the time...what's weird though is that others join in when I talk to myself and then I have to pay attention to them and not to me and then I can't remember what I was saying to myself and then that starts a whole different conversation with myself and others interrupt again!
I would think that two individuals "expectations' and "acceptances" have to come to a common middle ground. A clear definition between the two of what to compromise on, what to discard and what to accept. Too many times, I think that most couples who start a relationship become scared to say what they want, what they don't want and what they will and won't change about themselves in the first few months of a relationship and then as the relationship progresses, they become passive/aggressive and start down the road to destruction.
Snakes, lizards, turtles...cool pets. One daughter has a boa named Tiberius that has traveled with her family from Alaska to Virginia. He lives quite happily in a glass-enclosed 4-shelf bookcase that they redesigned for him. My other daughter raises bearded dragons, turtles, chameleons and other lizards in her house in Alaska. The pets have a wonderful home designed for them. They are tame, love being held and have a great little reptile life!
Spent the last 5 days getting in, getting set up and and still putting things to rights. Christmas will be with my son here and us enjoying our time together....
Actually for some, the average health insurance premiums do exceed the average mortgage payment/rent. For a lot of folks now, it's pay rent/utilities/food or have health care. And a lot of people do not qualify for state assistance.
Finding out medical history information about yourself is not actually a "NOBLE CAUSE." Not knowing your medical history will drive the costs of your personal health insurance plan up. Doctors will order more "tests" when you are sick and being pregnant for many means more dollars out of pockets for tests.....
Everyone should contact their representatives; their medical board in the state they live in and their states website that oversees the Health & Human Services Department...ask them what they are going to do to lower costs.....
Healthcare Reform not only means lowering costs across the board for people it is also one of the sticking points for individuals who have been adopted or searching for their birth families.
Most states are closed records states which means an individual who has been adopted has no access to their original birth certificate and they cannot access much needed medical information. It also affects their chances of getting a passport, a driver's license and sometimes insurance, since birth certificates of adoptees' are not originals.
What are you doing about it? Besides the two places that you contacted, have you contacted your local congressmen? Senators? Written to the drug companies? Have you started a grass-roots community action to bring down the cost of health care?
I've written to my congressmen, senators and also done it for other states also...the healthcare increases that we see do not always correlate to actual healthcare; you have wages, administration fees, malpractice fees, Medicare/Medicaid disbursement costs....the list goes on and on.
Depending on where you invest they can be between 2% to 5.6% and yes T-bills are also tax free...they don't pay a whole lot but you can roll them over quickly....
