A ham was a term given to an actor of low grade around 1875. The term is derived from the used of pig fat, which actors used instead of cold cream to remove makeup.
My sister and I sat down and went through the Health Care Bill...we then decided to research what would be the "affordable health care insurance" that we would be required to get...
We went and compared for one person (unemployed), no government support (healthcare, foodstamps, housing, etc) and this was what was recommended:
$748.48 per month/$1000 deductible/80-20 copay/no covered doctor visits ~ One individual
Now if I go only on what my 2010 income was and what my actual expenses would be (if I did not have a roommate), then my outgoing expenses far exceeds my income and I could not afford to pay the recommended monthly premium (which by way is close to a $100 more a month than my rent) and this is "affordable?"
I've been on wonderful dates that might have at most, cost approx $25 (to include gas)...sounds like maybe prices are way higher where you are or the definition of a date is skewed into a "wine me, dine me, blow your money on me" situation.
Why would someone have to quit dating if they can't afford a "high priced meal and show?"
No date should be so high priced as to put someone off and frankly, I would much rather do something simple that should some thought was put into it, then go to a restaurant or a show...
Honestly, if I want to watch a movie, I just rent a dvd or watch netflix. In a theater, I can't pause the movie for a potty break...and I would much rather talk to a person on a first date, then look at their profile in the dark....
Actually, I have. In order to write a fair and equitable job description, one must write out the qualifications necessary to perform the job, the learning (degrees or not) necessary to understand the functions of the job and the ability to understand and carry out the positions of the job with or without assistance. Research must done on the prevailing wage within the job stated from lowest pay (newly hired), mid-pay (some experience and learning) to highest pay (expert in their field)[and also wages from within state and across the country], ad nausea. A job itself cannot be based on whether it is male or female oriented but rather on what comprises the job and whether the individual(s) who apply for the position/job are qualified to perform the job.
RE: why can't you see me
Cause my brain processes it that way....
