Right now I want someone who will finish lifting those heavy totes and bags into the car. Finish mopping the bathroom and kitchen floors and clean the outside windows. Oh! and someone to give me a good neck/shoulder/neck massage!
For me; it was a mixture of relief/anger at self/hatred.
It took a long time to get to the point of break-up; should have observed the warning signs, not ignored them and the break-up should have happened five years before it did...
I am stronger now, know who I am and that at least, is the one thing that makes the break-up well, worth it.
There have always been strong powerful women as rulers and as peacemakers throughout time; unfortunately; history has sort of blocked out most of those women; so most believe that the powerful and peaceful were mainly men, with the occasional "fluke" of a woman having the brains and capability to be an effective ruler.
A really great author, Vicki Leon, has written a series of books, "Uppity Women," that showcases women throughout history, good, bad, strong, peaceful, silly and funny. Very interesting read....
Same here. I try very hard not to take my children for granted and appreciate, love and respect them for the choices they have made in their lives and for who they are.
Isn't that the way it is? We just forget ole Grimmy will have a full schedule and I will be stuck back in the corner, behind that beige cubicle wall, just counting the new "additions" but hey! at least I will have a J-O-B!
My tuition is costing me $14,333 per year so far. I have applied for grants, scholarships and have 2 subsidized loans taken out just to give myself this gift.
No guarantees it will give me the job I want but damn sometimes, I actually learn some things....
We are opposite of one another...packing and unpacking! I will also be staying up late to pack and clean but at this point..playing is just so much more fun!
