I am sorry but I don't understand the term "ethics revenge." There is honor and ethics among most individuals but those who try to get revenge against thinking they will be ethical find that are not ethical and harm themselves.
I appreciate what you said Free. However, bear in mind that I am 45,and have had in the fairly recent past, a sizable income based on the knowledge that I already had acquired and trained myself for and it is only recently that I have become unemployed, spent my savings and receive no assistance from the government. I chose to go to college, knowing full well that I would be going deeper into debt to provide this education for myself. I do not expect others to pay my debt(s) for me, however it would be nice if the government would care enough to lighten the interest rate burden for me.....
Unsure...I have two very good male friends and we call each other "buddy." Have done for the past two years, we aren't intimate and are happy being buds.
I've already spent my retirement and all my savings too being unemployed However, yes, I do see that there will be a huge fallout passed on to the taxpayers for those students that did default on their student loans. Sort of like knowing that in a few years we (the taxpayers) will be paying for the loans to banks and car companies for their bailouts.
In all honesty John, although I do not agree with a lot of what you post, I do think that your "suggestions" might get a better reaction if you prefaced what you write with something along the lines of: "This is not my opinion but others have suggested the following."
I don't honestly want to know, since I know at some point my son and nephew will be sent overseas...even though it is claimed that the troops will be pulled out....
I agree with what you said Ray, "that doesn't mean politicians can't have faith," but confusing a candidates religious bent in with their political ideologies is dangerous. Church and state should remain separate and not brought into the political arena, IMO.
Why bring religion into it John? Religion does not have a place in government and individuals should not base their voting decisions on the religion of a candidate, in my opinion.
Drinking my second cup now. Love the way my roommate makes coffee, we call it "Derwood Coffee." Nice and strong and just a touch of french vanilla creamer.....
But I am still not sure that it can be brought about, I'm still reading through all 199 pages and so far, I am not finding much that will help me, I seem to qualify in one section and yet am penalized in another section...(unemployed and a full time student)..
Does anyone really think this can work, especially since states must submit a plan to approved in order to get funding?
If this is a free for all thread, does that mean I can use a club and snag a man for an evening? Or is that the "Wishful Thinking" thread that is in my mind?
Although we are a global community, we are still secular and now more than ever, we tend to just stick to the little 'worlds' that we are most comfortable in. IMO
RE: How do you usually handle stress?
I am unsure. Once I have handled this current stress, I will let you know.
