I raised my own tribe of six and realized early on that I was not going to be subjected to "kid on parent" pressuring. I think when parents mistake "wants" over "needs" in regards to their children, they run out and buy their children what the children beg for but of course, that's just my opinion.
Saying that television brought about the ruin of mankind is akin to saying that books brought the destruction of civilization. If individuals feel the need to "keep up with Jones'" then by all means, let those individuals do so.
No one is controlled unless they allow themselves to be, whether it be through a medium such as television, the internet, books or music (radio).
I am wondering if getting a standard PPD test is discriminating and humiliating to many individuals? Most jobs/positions that require working with children, the sick, the elderly, food, etc. ask that individuals have a TB test done.
This helps to avoid infecting others, whose immune systems are compromised, do you feel that these tests are discriminating and humiliating?
I did read it Mr. AtwoZ, however, I don't think that you are understanding me, an infectious disease such as TB can be dormant in an individuals body for years/decades.
Many countries across the world, now report to WHO and other health organizations the instances of outbreaks of diseases. TB is cyclical, meaning because of its dormant period, it could take a generation before it becomes active. Many other diseases, such as colds, flus, HIV/AIDS can cause the TB strain to become active.
Also, with the "recent" reluctance of parents to immunize their children, many diseases are "making a comeback."
It cannot be "erased", as it can lie dormant in an individual for years/decades. Some can have it in their systems and not know until they are tested for it.
TB can contained but all it really takes is someone with a cold/flu, who then spreads the germs to someone who is susceptible or has "dormant" TB and the infection begins to spread.
TB can never be completely eradicated, many individuals from different racial backgrounds are highly susceptible to it, myself included. When individuals run to their physicians for the slightest of sniffles/infections and insist on antibiotics, they reduce the efficacy of the antibiotic in their system and this allows new strains to develop that "normal" antibiotics are helpless to combat.

Although, I do feel the need to point out, that although you insist that "potentials' can contact you via your blogs, as that is where your contact information is, not every "potential" is in the habit of reading blogs nor referring others to the blogs.
