I do understand what you are saying but we, the people, have to take some accountability and responsibility for our own apathy by not voting, calling and writing to those that are elected to represent us.
It is easy to say that we should revolt but revolt how? When? Where? Who will organize it? Who would take responsibility? How would you amass such a revolt?
I myself think that we do also Galrads; one only has to look at the wait times for emergency services, the lines surrounding the free clinics and more and more doctor's practices closing.
It's not just the costs of pre-existing conditions, there are factors such as: adoptees not knowing their medical histories, those who use emergency rooms as their main forms of health care, etc.
That is certainly one way to look at it. I think that if "Obamacare" had been better researched and not thrown together, then there would be a much better outcome for a lot of individuals.
I think sometimes that "Obamacare" was a well intended concept but trying to read through the volume(s) of laws, rules and legal mumbo-jumbo is too much.
I don't know that anyone would be better off for their healthcare needs.
The long and short answer is: Not really. Some can qualify for Adult Assistance, might or might not include Healthcare. There are free clinics in most counties/cities but even then, most patients must pay for part of their services.
If they use an emergency room for their only form of medical help, then the costs are absorbed by the tax-payers in the form of higher property taxes and sales taxes.
I don't receive services in all states, as I am Alaskan Native and we belong to corporations rather than tribes. Some Indian Health Clinics will accept my BIA card (proof of Indian Blood) and some will not, even though my corporation is federally recognized.
I have no issues paying for my healthcare, I just wish more Indian Health Clinics were like Alaska's.
I understand the frustration regarding the rolls closed. Happened to a lot of individuals. Not sure about the Medicaid criteria.
I don't have medical insurance either. I am covered by Indian Health Services but I still have to pay for my visits, medications, if any and any surgeries or referrals. I definitely cannot afford to get ill at this time.
I do not believe that I would go to his extreme's either.
I can be alone but I am never "miserably lonely" or even lonely. It would be nice to have a significant other but it is not the sole ambition in my life.
As to sharing, caring and feeling for others, that happens daily and it is reciprocated. No one else can make me happy in life or with myself, that is my responsibility, others can help enhance my happiness. As I am single and enjoying my singleness at this moment in life, I see no need to go out and pursue a relationship. If it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, then I am not any worse or better off in my life.
Mine were done by two different individuals; one who was just a tattoist and the other by an artist. The one by the artist is on my profile pics. He did my sun and used colors that he said reminded him of me.
I have two piercings in one ear and one in the other, have no idea why either...
Man Goes To Jail Over $1 Robbery
Hi B! Why do I not find that hard to believe? Sad isn't it?
