That is true Kaybee and I am not disparaging it but I think the original question from AtwoZ was asking more why do we question ourselves and when we do, are we looking or seeking approval from others?

I don't believe that questioning ourselves and facing our faults is a bad thing, I think it helps us to evolve into the persons we wish to become and sometimes asking forgiveness along the way does help.

Agree with you Pandora. It's not about asking forgiveness or trying to be humble and begging someone to like you (that's low self-confidence).

Knowing who you are, faults and all, make you a stronger person and more confident in you who are without being a prat or snob.
